Laptop Help!

I recently installed sp1 and now my usb ports dont work or read anything, I uninstalled and re-installed the drivers but they still dont work. It is a dell 9100 if any of you guys could help or know whats up I would appreciate it

Are we talking XP Pro or Home Edition?
Have you contacted Dell?
Right Click on MY COMPUTER and click on PROPERTIES
click on the HARDWARE TAB
Click on the DEVICE MANAGER BUTTON
Click on the cross next to UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS CONTROLERS
Do any have a Question mark (?)next to them?
If so doulbe click on them and see what it says
Let me know.
PS I'm not yelling

Search Dell own pages, it me be some driver problem with brand maker technical solution (often they don't comply with standards).
