This thread is retarded. It's the year 5772 according to the Hebrew calendar. According to the Chinese calendar, it's 4709...or 4649, or 4710 depending on the epoch used to calculate it.

Truth is...no one knows what year it is.

Who is the God here, father Jehovah or the son Jesus?

If it is Jehovah, when was his first time? If it is Jesus, did he have son for him not to know his return?

How do you measure without a defined zero point?

What about all the years before year zero?

Maybe Jesus will never come back as a human being but who knows what will be,the important thing related to the year 2012 is that we are in 2000 and the year 2000 in the Bible is the year when the end is coming,or not.

Jesus has already come back, just like everyone else before and after him. Because as humans we are biological entities, when we die the body decomposses as it cannot sustain itself any longer, it get's recycled back into the planet.

Do you know what fossil fuels are? Everything which has died, has already "come back".

Where in the bible does it say the year 2000 is the end of the world? Even if it does, that would make no sense as our calendar we use was not in existence at the time of the bible being written as far as i am aware. Of course the bible has been translated many times over history in the event someone adjusted the "date" you supposedly say is in the bible... what makes us think they didn't add that as the "date" because they wanted to.

This is why the bible is flawed. It's misinterpretations of constantly translated paragraphs.

But even so, if the year 2000 is the end of the world and it is currently the year 2000 as you seem to be saying... you also say that "2000" will never come or go? Explain how that makes sense... Is this just a crypticly annoying way of saying there is no apocalypse?

Because we expect the Apocalypse in 2000 and didn't come,but we are in 2000(2012),and we expect something to come and probably will come,not knowing that we are actually in the year 2000,so because that didn't happened in 2000 and for that is why we don't believe in the prophecy of the Bible.Not will come nor will go.
