Its beautiful, just like Lybia was. Shame on the iranian government for trying to ruin this quality of life for these people.

As I was looking through the pics I had the very same thought. It's such a shame, all these places are beautiful just like our homes. I think the world is waking up though and the US/UK/NATO etc are aware of it. It's as if they're trying to squeeze as many invasions in as they can before 'Mum comes home'

Peace

I think it's advertising for the anti-SOPA movement. If SOPA comes into effect, you may very well get that page (and that page only) when you try to visit ATS

Scary huh?

Yeah we have all been played good and proper i think. I also happen to think that the end of the world scenario is unfolding.....erm sorry not fear mongering, but i mean end of the world for those that have been misleading us all, playing us all off against each other using religion, colour, location and every other excuse and reason they can brain wash us into believing.

Iraq for instance and the WMD's........oops mistake, there wasnt any. Who profited?
Afghanistan,.......oops another mistake. Who profited?
Now Iran........oops picked on the wrong country. I believe that Iran should make open as much as they can and access the www, open its doors to the world as you have shown in your thread because due to the propeganda there are alot of people who looking at your thread without the title would have thought it was in regard to somewhere else completely.

My opinion?
I believe that we have all been played. Together we stand divided we fall. Together as a planet, down with the boundaries and divisions in color creed and religion. My God is your God as yours is mine.
The Holy Qur'an for instance, if you can be bothered to read it, says nothing that i have been led to believe.
The elites playing on the fact that they believe that they have done enough to have you not even bother to look inside the other holy book. Playing on your ignorance.
One religion, one word, divided for preservation. All eggs in one basket.

Every country on earth is beautiful.

I suppose the purpose of this post is to show how innocent and magnificent Iran is. And while it's people may be, and the land may be beautiful, the government is corrupt and evil.

Why not show the pictures of the public hangings of gays, sactioned by the government? Again, beautiful land, evil, repressive government. And just to head off most of those who will attack me for saying so, I hate the US government as well. Happy?

Exactly, or how about we get shown the REAL Iran, how you can get heroin cheaper than food and how there are over a million drug addicts inside Teheran alone.

Hmmm.

You can repost the same stuff 6 months from now if you want more stars and flags. Seems like every few months there's a look how beautiful Iran is thread. You need a plane ticket?

Looks like a lovely place, but you seem to have forgotten some other photographs

The aftermath of a state-endorsed stoning

The state-endorsed punishment of an 8 year old boy accused of stealing bread

The state-endorsed hanging of 5 men accused of homosexuality

There's far worse photographs if you want to find them; This was the most graphically innocent

Just got to say BWAHAHAHAAHAHA to this comment ....

Especially the part about afghanistan being a nice place before the US invaded... someone should tell rudyard kipling that...

When you're wounded and left on Afghanistan's plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Jest roll to your rifle and blow out your brains
An' go to your Gawd like a soldier.
Go, go, go like a soldier,
Go, go, go like a soldier,
Go, go, go like a soldier,
So-oldier ~of~ the Queen!

I also find it seriously ironic that you make light of "making women cover up" like it's no big deal.

Exactly correct, pictures can make any place look beautiful or ugly. So many bad mouthing every other government shows that not only are we a lot a like in beauty as the pics in this thread are attempting to prove but we are just as alike in our ugliness. Corruption is not just in the governments but within the people, there will always be war because there will always be conflicting ideas as morality is determinate to the individual and their beliefs.

The people of Iran are not the problem...the problem is their threats by their leadership. Threats that they cannot carry out. I was always taught....If you open your mouth...you had better be prepared to back it up.

Iran is not prepared to back up any of their threats and YES...their are a majority of very good Iranians...it is the very small minority of Religious Fanatics that are starting something they cannot finish. Split Infinity

Very good thread. The US Military are not saying these people are not valuable or do not have a Culture! Iran has a very extensive Culture that is not all related to their religion. The Muslim religion is not all about Violence .. however .. the radicals wear this religion as a rag bringing disgrace upon the entire religion. If Christianity was slaughtering innocent people in the name of God we would look just a bad. There are people who do slay others in the name of God in Christianity .. it just seems to be Muslims are doing this much more and are in the headlines much more often.

I do not wish to turn this into a religious discussion , but i am just stating the obvious that some times need to be pointed out. The Iranian people most likely do not want war with US ... and probably do not want Nuclear power with all the wrath it is bringing down on them. Iran's people may be good people ... but they will suffer because of the Radical government in which controls it.

They don't have much of a choice. Iran obviously already has a few nukes , bought of course from the USSR. Any one who doesn't think they do ( have nukes) are a fool .. however .. these will be quickly and easily shot down with the 1000s of missiles that will be dispatched after these incoming projectiles.

The middle east is a very dangerous world. Again , i don't want to make this a religious argument , but the Bible tells me that there will never be peace in those countries (the middle east) until the anti christ comes. In turn there will be peace and prosperity for a short time (3.5 years). The Bible tells us they (Muslims) will be a thorn in the world's side and Israel will become a burden for the nations.

Best of luck to the Iranian nation .. but their government is going to get people killed over a nothing that means so much. The US actually offered Iran the ability for us to inspect and oversee their Nuclear program but they rejected. Of course it sucks , but terrorist are rampant in Iran and Iran has a HUGE history in dealing with terrorist and attacking other nations without a flag. The US obviously does this , but we arent there for a mass genocide of your population as such Iran wants (their government).

This is just my opinion.

the extreme censorship has to go, no one deserves to have music taken away from them. music is essential to a happy life.... they need social freedoms... more than what they have now at least...
