I know most people don't like Alex. But here he is talking today about it.

Also alot of people really felt let down with this thread.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

I personally don't think Jesse Vetura would say something like "You deserve to lose some of your team". (Not actual quote)

This story seemed so fake. He had a hard time even getting it out. Chris Kyle has apparently killed 255 people, 160 confirmed. And he has a smug attitude about it. People who go around bragging about the stuff this guy does do not have there head on straight. Who knows whats going on. But I just don't think that Jesse Ventura is the type to go down with one punch, and I definately don't think that he would say something that rude.

Chris Kyle is also releasing a book. Hmmm, nice promoting thats for sure. Two birds with one stone. Take a little bit of money for slandering a possible vide-presidential candidate, and sell a heck load of books while you are at it.

Perhaps you’ve heard of Chris Kyle. The former Navy SEAL and Dallas resident has a book out called American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History. The guy has more than 160 confirmed kills, two Silver Stars, and five Bronze Stars With Valor. Texas Monthly did a Q&A with him in its January issue. The Morning News has a Q&A with him in today’s paper. But both articles overlooked one very awesome anecdote. In doing his rounds to drum up sales of the book, Kyle made an appearance on Opie and Anthony yesterday. Opie asked Kyle to tell the story about the time in 2006 that Kyle punched out former SEAL and Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura. Pretty good story, if true.

Chris Kyle's New Book. Publication Date: January 3, 2012.

Amazon

We've seen what they do to Ron Paul. This guy doesn't seem anti-war at all. He's got the attitude of "Just Doin My Job, and Work Is Good!!."

Thats my thoughts on the subject anyway.

What does ATS think?

Chris Kyle is also releasing a book.

Speaking of Mr Kyle you may enjoy this little video... Oh yes it is about Mr Ventura. ( warning for some language)

Sounds pretty arrogant if he is telling the truth.

In following this story, it sounds to me like Ventura finally went a step too far with his words, someone wouldn't stand for it and put him on his butt. I like Ventura in general...but some of his Anti-American stuff carries beyond simply the Government these days and I've been growing a bit sick of it myself. Coming from a guy I happened to respect (The jury is out on how that stands now), it's made it worse to see.

Maybe being KO'ed will adjust his view of boundaries and what is appropriate for the setting. As for him being knocked out with one punch... Why not? He was a wrestler, not a fighter and that stuff is staged. It's not as if he's actually as 'tough' as his image would show in his advanced age. No offense to him, but time marches on and he isn't the kid he was in Vietnam. I'd also bet he would have thrown the knock out if he'd punched first. I'd imagine people like SEALs or UDT (as some in Vietnam were...
) are probably trained on the little things like where and how to hit someone's jaw to turn the lights out. Just a thought...

Obviously you didn't read the thread or check the link. I link to the Thread where that video is.

Also that is what this thread is about. Finding out if it is true or not. I have watched the video a couple times. His eyes go to the upper left quite a bit which a tell-tale sign of making stuff up.

I am simply trying to validate one or the other. I am sure Jesse will be on with Alex to talk about it soon enough. But thanks for the post anyway.

That guy Chris Kyle comes across as a meat head, trigger happy muppet. Cant wait for Jesses side of the story. Anyone that shots woman and children, are complete savages, and a waste of space.

Seals don't operate in that manner.

Yes I am leaning that way as well. I am kind of in a Denial Stage I think.

Jesse does go overboard sometimes with the way he talks to people or condescends. Just having a hard time accepting that this guy releases this statement so close to the release of his book. And that being a fellow Navy-SEAL at a wake, that he would say that.

He is over the top sometimes but everyone does that. He is also calm and real and has compassion for his fellow man. Or so I like to believe. Guess we will see in time.

On the other hand as well....aren't navy seals trained to take a little bit of pain?

makes for an interesting insight. Jesse is a pompous and somewhat pretentious uber douche - but I am having a hard time believing this story, and it never accured to me that this could be the beginning of the "Jesse Ventura Slam Project".

If this story is true .

Jesse has lost credibility with me .

he is a joke / wannabe / and full of ignorance like many of the ATS members on this post

www.abovetopsecret.com...

There is a time and place to spew your ignorance , and ego boosting . But disrespecting , people who just lost a loved one is not the place or time for it .

Its the little diginity in humanity i thought would afford , But i was wrong .

I lost respect for jesse with the peirce morgan interview

where he flip flopped like a "seal"

This is extactly like some ATS members , who take a headline run with it without caring of its context , nor credibility or merit .

If jesse did say those things he is have said to say .

then he loses more then respect

i won't even put a capital J when i speak of him

For the inconsiderate ATS members ,

Don't forget , There is a time and place.

You wouldn't like me coming into your life while your in the middle of funeral for a lost loved one and bring up politics would you ?

""Jesse Ventura Slam Project".

There is no need for a SLAM project , he does a great job of discrediting him self by back peddling .

Cry me a river - Justin T.

I don't like wars as much as the next guy , but i have a little decency to know when words cross the line at the wrong time .

Those who cry "sucker punch"

Think of it as a pity escape .

Your lucky that guys buddies didn't come stop jesse out .

jesse got off easy . with a love tap .

what would you have said if that man lost his cook broke a bottle and put it in jesse's neck ?

one punch to remind him of consequences of his actions is just .

what do some of u suggest?

one v one ? where he would get a proper pounding ?

Be lucky he walked away with just a "sucker punch"

I can't wait to hear Ventura's response. He will not pull any punches and I don't care if you are an accomplished sniper, you would not sucker punch Ventura and the world not hearing about it right away.

I hear ya about denial. You know, in fairness to Ventura and what I've known of him in the past I'm inclined to give him some benefit of the doubt here. I don't necessarily doubt what happened, as it would be in character to him in recent times, unfortunately. However, he has gone far deeper down the rabbit hole than any of us have and I've seen people online kinda transform and become real jerks the more they've learned and actually come to realize much of the worst is actually true. I wonder if Ventura isn't similar. I recall his recent temper tantrum over the dismissal of his TSA suit where he headed back to Mexico in a huff, muttering expletives all the way.

Perhaps what he needs is a vacation. A long one....to just break from it all and get life back into perspective. I'm just trying, like you, to find a rational explanation for what I don't particularly want to think he's become.

You know..for all the hate Glenn Beck gets...I started listening to him LONG before he was ever on CNN, let alone Fox. HE used to be a funny, entertaining and pleasant man too. Then he took the trip down the rabbit hole..and became a bitter old troll. I suppose it happens.

I have never seen that video before. If you watch his body language closely, it gives me the impression that he was lying about the entire episode!

He is on vacation in Mexico right now lol.

The thing is...he is human. Who wouldn't be down right pissed if you were played and not even allowed a jury of your peers to decide if what was done was wrong or not. He just realized that his "Government" has no jurisdiction over the TSA.

If i went through all that bureaucratic crap just to be turned down like that I would probably scream profanity all the way home as well.

Then you have to deal with people all day using that smug tone telling you that you're crazy for asking questions. That can get irritating. The world is a hard place to handle when you "Dive down that rabbit hole". I know what you;re saying. But getting mad is completely natural and needed. Someone who doesn't get mad once in awhile is just holding it in or taking it out on his girlfriend at home in secret. Both are very unhealthy and morally wrong. Thats what I think anyway.

To me that incedent is blown out of context...

Why don't you get his side of the story and why he did what he had to do.

This is with Bill Oreilly, and listen carefully to what he is saying.

Well I think that it's best to reserve complete judgement until we hear a response from Ventura. This may have occurred, and while Ventura is very critical of our action oversees, I do not see him making such disrespectful comments against a fellow seal at his own wake. It's possible, but I don't see it coming from a man that holds so much pride for the Navy and military members in general.

I'm sure this will all come to fruition soon. Then, hopefully, we will know the truth.

Also, that Oreilly interview does nothing but add to my suspicion through his body language and such.

I watched the O'reilly interview with Chris Kyle. His personality seems closely aligned with that of a serial killer -- no remorse whatsoever after killing hundreds of people. Although it is sickening to hear fellow human beings bragging about killing others, it is more sickening to see his actions being given a national stage like O'Reilly's show. After hearing Kyle talk like that, I can see why Ventura might have gotten upset and possibly said something inappropriate. How should a normal human being react when a serial killer openly flaunts his actions to your face?

Now this video I have seen. Opie or Anthony, which ever one it is, is completely disrespectful and conducts himself like a complete ass! They have a reputation of doing just that.

This interview was nothing more than an attempt to provoke Ventura and it was probably best that he left. I would have shoved my elbow down his throat myself if it was me.
