AP Source: GM to call back 8,000 Chevy Volts

Can't have the favorite car of the Obama regime tagged with the dreaded "RECALL" label. So let's just say they are being "called back".

Never mind that they covered up the problem for 2 months in the first place. Potentially putting 10's of 20's of customers at risk.

The government controlled media had no problem sensationalizing Toyota's imaginary brake problems, but go above and beyond to push this problem under the rug.

Just amazing.

i hope the chevy volt and all electric cars fail. can you imagine electricity rates once the oil cartels move onto providing electricity for your car.

The Battery Pack being comprised of Lithium Ion batteries requires stable temps....what do the GM engineers do ?

They devised a cooling system for the battery pack !

Engineering experience tells me that added complexity is not always a good thing ....and is very likely to create headaches later on ....as this exemplifies.

The good thing is that IF you sustain enough damage to the backbone of the vehicle in that your battery shorts as a result of a severe crash ......then it's likely your Volt is toast as well...as in Totaled.

Oh, the bankster bailouts....of which the Rockefellers owners of GM and Chase Manhattan Bank were entitled to ?

That was in the plans way before Obama was even elected.....

Simply Look back to 98 when the Glass Steagall Act was repealed by the Republicans....to deregulate the banks and subsequently to create this crash...

Simply look at how the bank accounts of those involved have grown....

How's your and most Americans 401K doing these days ?

Not if you put up a couple of solar panels on your roof and provide electricity for yourself....besides .... Electric motors have instant torque off the line and are a hoot to drive !

They are able to own C6 Corvettes in the quarter mile....with no gas but ...

With electricity generated by their local Hydro Electric Dam at that !
