Phil is more in touch with the people than most politicians.

He would have made a great politician himself.

A politician for the people that is.

And yet, that's what Ron Paul IS...A politician for the people and for the constitution of our country.
He's being handed to us on a platter, to lead this country in line with iits constitution......and yet.......
The dumb people are afraid of going against the brainwashed dogma and therefore reject him.
Actually I don't believe they reject him: I believe that the polls and votes are and will be skewed by fraud, so that Paul is never to be 'allowed' to be voted in by us.

That's why we must MASS TOGETHER and vote this polititian in.

Eradicate election fraud by doing your bit: Photograph your ballot, record as much as you can to STOP THE FRAUD....It's already been done in Iowa, so watch out! If it wasn't for fraud, Paul would have won!

Maybe this is what Donahue means.

www.youtube.com...

Can someone sort this link out for me ?

No wonder our soldiers are coming back mentally scarred and with a higher rate of suicide than those killed in action.

And Ron is behind in time. Here's what I mean.

Ron Paul makes too much sense. Like 25-years ago sense, or more. I'm wondering if the country has just been too dumbed down and desensitized to understand.

the things going on today EVERYWHERE should astound us - it's inconceivable!

It's 1984 all over again

You are right on more levels than one. I am not a US citizen and I do support most of what Ron Paul says. He is the only candidate that should be let anywhere near the whitehouse. However, his plan to fix the US economy is at least 25 years too late and if implemented today would destroy any hope left for 99% of the US citizens unless he also plans to confiscate all the Gold owned by the 1%. Thats not gonna happen and they wont allow the currency to be backed by a less precious metal without a world war.

Ummm.....Not true.....If you have read his "platform".....you'll see that his intent is to, first "audit" and then phase out the fed and fractional banking......this would take place over the length of his term, not all at once.... Also...when you pare down the federal beast...you gain. When you arent shelling out foreign bribes, in the form of foriegn aid...you gain. when you pare down the military industrial complex...you gain.

Thats a powerful lot of savings that can go back to the people.....The records are there on who paid in.....cut them all a check.......
If you begin to change the nature of the beast from adversarial to practical cooperation...Then suspicion fades and friendship begins. if you set the creative spirit free, then industrious people will transform insight into industry. If we focus on harmony...both with humanity...and with our world......then we can begin to indeed look to the stars..............

Leave behind us....the conquerer mentality and voyage forth as explorer and adventurer.....as long as we also leave behind...naievity...

the first like 2 minutes was alright but ,. then the guy gets wayyyyy too liberal. i definitely don't like a nanny state and he is exaggerating on the Iraq situation, G.W.B did not blame saddam for 9/11.

Bush changed his tune later, but he very much made the case that Hussein was involved with 911. In fact, his administration made Americans believe Hussein was involved in practically every attack on Americans anywhere.

"Listen, we're going to war because President Bush believes Saddam Hussein was involved in 9/11. Al Qaeda is a front for Iraqi intelligence.[the U.S.] bureaucracy made a tremendous blunder that refused to acknowledge these links . the people responsible for gathering this information, say in the C.I.A., are also the same people who contributed to the blunder on 9/11 and the deaths of 3,000 Americans, and so whenever this information emerges they move to discredit it."

Yes he wants to get rid of the Fed but he wants to then return to the Gold Standard. You need to do some research as to what that actually means for you.

In Ron Pauls words - The transition would be pretty tough, not written and talked a lot about this and you’d have to device a system where there would be a transition where maybe you could have a gold standard competing with a paper standard and then obviously gold would win out.

Ron Paul wants to phase in "sound" money.
Sound Money

The problem is this. Not only do the federal reserve bankers get paid enormous interest for essentially inflating the money supply, there is no real accountability to HOW MUCH they are inflating the supply, and where it actually goes. The productivity of the U.S. citizen backs the currency, and the U.S. citizen should be PRODUCING the currency.

I didn't realize Donahue was still with us
He looks amazing. In fact, he hasn't changed at all (having white hair his whole adult life probably helps)

Does anyone feel the United States should get rid of these caucuses?
I mean, so much wasted money goes towards 'marketing' your candidate. It's almost like an Olympic event.

Why not each state have a primary election?
I don't understand how an Iowan or New Hampshirian can represent ME!

It's all a money game isn't it. Those who have the most money, gets to campaign more loudly and largely.
How about voting for the best person and not the best television commercial?

His own words he makes clear there will be a transition, and competing currencies. And he wants sound money, as in commodity backed, doesn't have to be gold. People use 'gold standard' when bashing him to make him look crazy and unrealistic. The dollar can be backed by any number of things not just gold, but other precious metals, gas, hemp (once the corporations stranglehold is removed), etc. Our fiat currency is NOTHING but an illusion. We trade worthless paper, for goods and services. That can't be sustained much longer. But again, there would be a transition, he does not advocate turning everything on it's ear.

Ever since I was a kid, I wondered why money was worth anything. I thought it was weird that we traded pieces of paper for cars, houses, food, etc. I thought, why is this paper worth more than the paper I write on in school? It's really not.

As not American I want to say something in my opinion worthy to be considered from different perspective. I don't believe Ron Paul could win elections but this is not what I want to say.
Did you considered what would happen if Ron Paul would win elections. I mean every body in the world know about his antiwar declarations and his pacifism. If I was some bad evil Ahmaditrololo dictator and one day I would read in newspaper that Ron Paul won election I would be very happy barbecue I would be sure that no one would stop me from doing what I want. All this dictators which now afraid of America would treat Ron Paul presidency as a green light to spread their influence in the world. This is what I afraid a bit as nonAmerican.

Donahue makes a good point about US presidential candidates needing to be pro-war in order to have a chance at being elected. A tragic cycle.

I'm not sure if it's all the older people voting in these war-mongers, or if it's the mongers themselves who have "helped themselves" to some extra votes. Makes me wonder... Does one have to be a part of some special warmonger club to get elected? It's not just the repubs either... Obama acted all anti-war and look what happened. I bet Hillary would be even more pro-war if she was prez.

Well, a sincere thank you VERY much to Mr. Donahue.
I can only pray that more and more Americans will understand.
Vote Ron Paul my friends.
Nothing short of him being elected will do. Anyone else, and I'm afraid we are doomed, and I believe that.
Vote for Ron Paul.
PEACE

Let us not forget though, that only 4 years ago, it was the ANTI-WAR promises, and sentiment that got Obama elected.
He lied through his teeth and and took the wars up a notch, and we are all willing to accept this?
Now, this time out, it's the PRO WAR rhetoric that has the majority all fired up.
It's amazing. Sheeple, we are.
God help The U.S.A.

It is so strange how things 20 years ago which we took for granted are now crazy or kookish. Ron Paul has not changed, our media has. This is why he is not greatly accepted by MSM. What was once good is now bad, war is peace, ignorance is freedom. A Banker can steal billons of dollars and not have charges and no action is taken, but if you grow your own food your a nut. See how things have been warped? You see, imo, the MSM no longer reports the news, it produces the news. To me Dr. Paul makes sense. If I am labled as a "kook" because of that, I am pround to bear that lable, as I am in excellent company.
