New here

Hi,
I am new here as a member, but, as so many before me; I have been reading the forums regularly as my only source of reliable, non-biased news. I thought I might as well try interacting as well as just reading.
A bit about me:
I work as a network infrastructure engineer for a large organization here in Japan. Along side this I am also a network protocol developer. A little bit of a strange combination but I like my work.
Over years at university I was always interested in past events and what other explanations there could be for them other than what we are given by the media and our governments. Often referring to Occam's razor as a general rule and then deriving a theory based on this, only to find that it has already been suggested. I guess I could be categorized as one of those that usually refutes anything without tried and successfully tested means proving that the original story is, in fact, true.

That's enough about me. Thank you all for the forums and for the very interesting read over the time. I hope I can contribute in a constructive way to these forums.

Welcome to ATS Miyuki. I am sure you will do just fine here. Network engineer and protocol developer? Maybe you can help the hacktivist's who want to launch their own, open, satellite based internet to stop governments worldwide forcing their silly rules on us all?
