Rick Perry welcomed back to Texas with ‘bum steer’ award

In what has to be one of the most hilarious sequels to Iowa, Rick Perry was given "Texas Monthly Magazine's" "Bum Steer of the Year" award in their first issue of 2012. (article is here). Frankly, it's not a smear job but a pretty fair accounting of why we're not voting for ol' Rick and why we all kind of tiptoe away and shake our heads when he's mentioned. Longish but fun article (particularly if you don't like Perry!)

Th is Washington Post Report is an interesting followup to that report, because it compares him with one of the more successful "outsider candidates", Ross Perot from Texas (hey! I voted for that guy!).
