Eating cat stew?
I thought the Chinese believed that eating cat is bad because the spirit of the cat will haunt you...well the spirit of the cat certainly haunted him
(Plus the fact it was poisoned).
At first they arrested the guy who owned the restaurant on suspicion of serving unsanitary food.
Then after some digging found out it was the guy who he was with did him in.

That's what you get for eating a poor kitty cat. Irony is great sometimes.

I hope were not suppose to feel bad for this guy... I know cats are still animals but it's so inhumane.

I so have this image of a Chinese billionaire coming to my house for dinner and me popping open a can of Little Friskies for him. My cat would be all over his plate. Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Makes no sense tho a billionaire eating cat ? Thats what hobo's would do. You would think he would want to snack off the endangered species lists or is that just me ??

As a cat lover and owner, i have to say: it's a different culture, so what? Just because it's a cultural difference doesn't mean it's wrong, it's just that we have grown up, been educated, and conditioned that it is not appropriate.

When i was in Japan i ate horse, and it was very good.

Went to a French restaurant, had escargot. DELICIOUS.

The Chinese sushi and hibachi buffet down the road, when i went in, had whole baby squid (steamed in hot spices). Upon first glance, it looked gross (even though i love fried calamari), but i said, "it's just food. We have a different culture, are accustomed to different things, so i'm gonna try it." And i did. Even though it grossed out my companions, it was delicious. The next time we went back, i ate several.

it looked good to me, but as a cat fella (They live with me you can't own a cat) I just couldnt eat cat.....dog? heck wipe it's bum and put it on a plate

Anyone who says that about the most noble loyal creature on earth has to have a screw loose.

You would eat something that has as many emotions of a dog but would not eat an animal that has as little emotion as a cat?!?!? I like cats but geez guy a dog is the closest match spiritually to a human.
