I have never seen Ron Paul as a good debater....I just don't see it.

He is timid...other people dominate him, take his time, cut him off...and that is just the moderators

I realize his supporters say he is a good debater...but I honestly don't see it.

Are you serious? Ron Paul tears it up all of the time. He may not have a commanding voice, but he speaks the truth with impunity, and that is something no one, even obama, can claim to do.

It's okay to admit Obama tricked you, OKS. Just let it out bro...

If Ron Paul found a cure for cancer , you would criticize him for taking so long.

Or, criticize the fact that he didn't cure AIDS instead. Or some other nonsense.
Paul wasn't supposed to do this well according to these "experts", but how fast they forget their own predictions.

Lets be honest sir.

If Ron Paul found a cure for cancer , you would criticize him for taking so long.

I give the man credit when due. I said he did better in Iowa than I thought he would and the same here in NH.

I agree with him on most of his foreign policy but disagree with him on most of his domestic policy.

But I wouldn't rank him as a great debater...I wouldn't even rank him as a good debater. You can say that I just hate him...but I do give him credit when I think he deserves it.

Have you ever said one positive word about Ron Paul? If he's such a minuscule threat that poses no dangers to Obama, Romney or anyone else, why is he all you talk about? My goodness.

There is no "truth" in politics...only opinion and preference.

Obama didn't trick me...he did exactly what I thought he would do...that is why I voted for him. If you payed attention to what he said during the campaign and realize that he can't do anything without congress...you shouldn't be surprised by one thing that he has done.

Which is why I will be voting for him again...which is why his approval rating is right around 50%.

And honestly...I've never seen Ron Paul "tear it up".

Do not underestimate Obama. He is an expert on the constitution and, even if he doesn't show it, a very smart man. It would be an epic debate, mostly because they are both constitutionalists. It would be very interesting.
''

Obama a constitutionalist?

Really? The man who openly said the constitution was a remarkable, but "flawed" document (even to this day)? The man that signed NDAA into law?

Granted, Obama is incredibly smart and truly inspirational rhetorician with a teleprompter, but I would never say the man is a Constitutionalist.

If he's an expert of the constitution, then technically wouldn't it be dereliction of duty when he signed into law NDAA?

Just saying the indefinite detention of American Citizens without trial and Constitutionalism are polar opposites....

So you approve the war in Libya, the NDAA, failing to repeal the patriot act, failing to close guantanamo, the rich wallstreet execs he put into power, the bailouts, the failed economy, etc etc etc....

America needs a true third party, the right and the left pretend to support different ideals, but really report to the same people: bilderberg, CFR, The Fed, etc....

So, it's okay OKS, I know at some point it will hit you, and you can cry on my shoulder if you want bro....

Im sorry but I have to say, that Obama is NOT a constitutionalist. His view of the constitution is what he was taught in law school, that its a "dead" document. And I believe hes even stated that. Dr. Paul's view however, is a very old school, yet refined view. He whole-heartedly stands for every word and law in it. And believes that every law after it has no ground if not for the Constitution.

I wish ATS would host on the radio... coverage of the GOP primaries... with updates as they come in.

Would be great to debate you guys live AND even have ats outsiders chime in. that would be epic!

Just got the idea when you posted those results... had a 'what if...' moment.

War in Libya...how many troops do we have there???

I'm not one of those that think NDAA is going to make Americans dissapear...I read the bill. Obama never said he would repeal the patriot act, he tried to close guantanamo...republicans blocked him, I honestly don't care if people worked on wallstreet, he didn't do the bailouts, he didn't crash the economy.

I think you spend too much time on conspiracy websites.

What about the illuminati and the NWO???

Now I know you spend too much time on conspiracy sites.

Ron did very well in the speech.

People love him because he is imperfect, there is no team of experts and advisers trying to predict how people would respond to his every move.

This is a genuine man with genuine intentions.

His personality cuts through all the BS and people are able to see through it.

The Ron Paul Revolution is on the march and it is an unstoppable force. Even the largest propaganda machine in history can't stop it.

Obama's view of the constitution is consistent with about half of the countries view of it....and about half of the SCOTUS as well.

It is a document that is in need of constant interpretation and amending in the context of our current society.

Who are you to determine what half of the country is right or wrong???

I admit, Constitutionalist may have been the wrong term to use. Obama does have a law degree from Harvard so it's not like he doesn't know what the document is or stands for. The only point I was trying to make was that if Paul was debating Obama and brought up the constitution, Obama wouldn't be down the creek without a paddle. It wouldn't be like Mitt's "ask our constitutionalist" comment.

No, but Obama would just throw out BS, because we already know he is full of it. Which I can't understand why Romney is still supposedly up there in the polls...Hmmmmmmm

Oh wait I know why because those polls are just meant to throw us off...
