Why didn't anyone tell me I would be growing up?

Wondering.. wondering...... wondering what would happen to me. It was just growing up. There will come a time when you will grow up. Damn have I been searching. It's just something you need to let happen. What was all that freaky stuff about? Jeeeeeeeeeeesus you guys were freakin' freakin'. Life is just freakin' cool:

I was just telling my nephew about growing up yesterday. although i'm only in my early twenties.

From what I have seen in my limited time on the blue marble, for most people growing up means losing much of their humour, getting in to a life of debt and working long hours for The (Ungrateful) Man.

Because the odds of that happening in this culture are so miniscule as to be virtually inconceivable.

I grow old......not up......I am the same kid I was.....just have more money now and go to bed when I damn well please.....other than that,......oh yeah I have to pay taxes now and I have my own kid.....she needs to grow up not me....no sir....
