My new year's resolution - Join ATS

While this might be my first post in the community, I've been a serial ATS addict for +- 18months, and already feel very much a part of the community. For various reasons I've never joined the facebooger crowd, but have found an online home in the house that is ATS. Not that I take pride in being a lurker, but to quote a quote (dunno whom):

In seeking wisdom,
the first step is silence
the second step is listening
the third step is remembering
the fourth is practicing

(seems many people read the posts for a long time before joining up, I read the posts for 2 years before joining ...funny that )

While I understand and sympathize with much of what you wrote, there is one point on which I must state my disagreement:

Hi PadawanGandalf, and welcome to the Introductions Forum, a place to say hello to the ATS community. For now you can reply to any thread in any member forum you wish, as well as send & receive (PM's) Private Messages to Staff only for now.

Once you have achieved 20 posts, you will then be able to start your own threads in the appropriate forums and additionally send & receive messages to and from fellow ATS members.

Many years ago I made a new years resolution to not make anymore new year resolutions,
and so far I have kept it!

This is my first new years resolution like in... I don't remember if I ever had any. But since this is supposedly the last year before the Apocalypse.. I would like to become more active in the sharing of ideas.
