Nuclear bomb shelters completed ?

Every one speaks as though nuclear war will just be the end of everything, everyone actually has a pretty good chance to survive if you build yourself a shelter with good airflow and supplies. Your main worry is getting there in time.

The only place you are done for is within the direct surface blast radius of the bomb which will carve out the earth, if your not deep enough then yep your a gonna. If your not within the surface blast and in a shelter then you have a good chance to survive. If you see a bomb flash off in distance #ing run for cover close your eyes and try to cover your skin the thermal blast is on its way which is then followed by massive pressure waves which can bring down buildings somewhere like the underground or sewers would be best if you can.

If you have survived that then your chances are much better of making it through. The radiation from the blast will not come done for weeks even months years as all the radioactive dust from the surface blast is vaporised up into the atmosphere its only when its starts to rain you should begin to really worry as this will bring down the radioactive dust (hotspots). Obviously you want to go upwind away from radioactive clouds.

Generally speaking you have a few days to get yourself into a tidy bunker in the woods built with plastic sheets(damp proof), wooden pole/stakes/trees and a whole lot of soil. Angled entrances are must to stop radiation scattering in, blast door even better but most people wont have this. Something like 36 inches of soil will reduce radiation to 1/300. If you needed go outside you could for short periods, e.g. to collect filtered water etc. If your at ground zero then dont go out for a 2-5days.

You will not have to stay indoors for years thats bull. You may have to not go out for long periods and the world will not go into cold winter either, that theory is very old.

Im live UK and im making my own plans, # my Government they dont give a #. Wheres all our money gone, someones got it and think its building up to this. I also have noticed a lot of cash for gold companies started recently giving really cash payouts for your gold, makes sense if money will be worthless soon.

Another thing why in the uk are we not educated on how to survive this potential threats. There is stuff that can be done, I like the Russians I genially believe they care about their people and also think they do not want a war.
