I agree! And yes, this could put everything to rest. So I say no matter what the truth is, go for it. How do you know that Obama didn't want this to happen? So he can finally put an end to the controversy before the elections? Look at the timing.

If Orly Taitz is allowed a thorough case to run it's course, without ridiculous obstacles, like barring him from talking to anyone who's anyone, as an example, then the outcome will satisfy me.

I doubt I'm alone on this.

Hypothetical:

1) The Court decides he is ineligible.
2) He appeals. And appeals again. SCOTUS grants Cert.
3) By this time, Newt is elected, making the POTUS the supreme decider, who can overrule the SCOTUS.
4) Supreme Court upholds lower courts' decisions, affirming ineligibility.
5) Ex-POTUS Obama is disgraced.
6) Newt loses to a democrat.
7) Newly elected democrat, using Newt's own law, overrules the ruling that making Obama ineligible.
8) Obama is eligible, again.
9) Obama is no longer disgraced. He is empowered. And Honored.
10) Obama runs again...and wins.

Can the decision legally keep Obama off the ballot? I mean, if one administrative judge (not sure what court) decides he is ineligible, is this the be-all end-all decision for whether he gets on the ballot in GA?

I remember reading about this last month, cause the people who filed lived abut 30 mins from me, and i did--and still do--attribute it to angry white conservative birthers who both hate having a democratic president---who is black. Can't get him out of office for being a democrat, can't do it because he's black, but what about because both his parents weren't citizens. Hey! Maybe he wasn't born here! Rabblerabble...

You do have to wonder if the political spin is not to Obamas advantage. This can only backfire on the idiots who still support this birther nonsense. Christ, talk about dumb and dumber. Frankly, I left the Republican party years ago. When I first voted the Republicans were not run by the lunatic fringe. As far as that party is concerned it seems the crazy people are all thats left in that asylum. So, I baled. And did so openly and for once on the record said as to why. Ya, I considered it that important I actually was quoted by the press at the time. And thats not like me to make a"scene". I do most of my best work completely under the radar. I like it here.

But when the GOP was taken over by religious fanatics, and "social constructionists" those who think they have the God given right to tell other people how they should live in particular in peoples private lives, I knew they had gone off the deep end for me. God I hate people who are both arrogant and dumb as s***. I really do.

And I've been an Independent voter ever since. Though come to think about it I've always voted for the person and not the Party.
