Those guys went to a really good school, in a different time

and the meaning was common knowledge to them.

If you were to study such things ( as Obama does being a professor of that subject) it would be common knowledge to you.

If you don't know what something means, look it up. Understand the intention, understand the authors, understand the time period.

Odd that there was nothing questionable about it to anyone that actually knew what a HI birth certificate should look like. Just AM radio listeners from the mainland, mostly midwest. The same ones crying states rights all the time and cannot even understand one simple states rights issue such as your birth certificate should look no more like on from another state than your face should look like everyone born to your great grandparents.

Why do you suppose no one with actual authority and expertise actually questioned it? Cannot I not just say I have questions about your motives.

Viola...Kawika has questionable motives.

Ah, but I do know what it means, and it does not mean what you claim it does - which is why Obama is the legal POTUS, and birthers are still pissed off that a black man is the legal POTUS!

Ok, well if that is not the correct answer, maybe it means no C-sections births. Have it your way.

They must have had something in mind when they wrote that. If it was not a common phrase, why would they not define it somewhere?

What else could it mean?

I think Walter Williams Walter Williams or Condoleezza Rice would be great presidents. Not because of their color, but because of who they are.

If you had actually bothered to read what the governor actually said, you would not post such lies.

Care to show us what they actually said? - no, as it destroys you claim they said it does not exist!

By their fruits you will know them...

Maybe we need some kind of procedure to vet people. Oh wait, we have one. When they did my background investigation for a TS in the NAVY they talked to my childhood neighbors, co-workers, teachers... And probably others I did not know about.

I wonder if Obama had a background investigation like that? Maybe if you need one for the senate.

Do you honestly - sincerely believe someone running for president has not had a background investigation?

Really? Seriously?

I think it was 2nd hand from someone who spoke to him about it. As soon as it got out they covered the tracks and admit nothing. But we all have to filter what we hear and see for truth. My BS detector is working fine.

From memory, what he said was he found an entry in a hand written logbook but not an actual BC. The entry in the book was enough to create the short form. But the long form did not exist. Which is probably pretty close to the truth.

I have no memory of anyone suggesting that he did. He was only there a very short time. It takes a year or longer now to complete a SBI.

Drugs disqualify him for a clearance...admitted in his own book. Total deal breaker. He could not even enlist in the Army with that on his record.

Barack Obama has specifically admitted to using marijuana and coc aine in his book “Dreams From My Father.” He even confesses pursuing heroin, but was scared of the drug dealer. A clearance question such as this is used to test someone’s ethical fortitude to stand up for what is right, legally forbidden, and ultimately make correct decisions. Obama fails this test with his weakness to deny temptation.

this is how pathetic birthers are getting, now they rely on some unknown person who apparently spoke too the governor told someone who told kawika....

What actually happened was....

State Attorney General David Louie told the governor that privacy laws bar him from disclosing an individual’s birth documentation without the person’s consent, Abercrombie spokeswoman Donalyn Dela Cruz said Friday. “There is nothing more that Gov. Abercrombie can do within the law to produce a document,” said Dela Cruz. “Unfortunately, there are conspirators who will continue to question the citizenship of our president.”

No, I remember seeing an image of the public record book in question. One line, hand written. Looked modified.
Added text below, there is a link in the text to the logbook but it is a dead link.

Enter Gov. Abercrombie

Upon taking office earlier this year, Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie asserted he would end the “birther” controversy by using the power of his office to find and make public definitive Obama birth records.

Then, in an interview with the Star Advertiser published on Jan. 18, Abercrombie said the only Obama birth records he could find was a line recording Obama’s birth on a log book held in the Department of Health vault archives.

WND reported at the time that Abercrombie’s statement implied that a long-form, hospital generated birth certificate for Obama, listing the hospital where he was born and the physician who attended the birth, did not exist.

The controversy for the Hawaiian governor deepened when radio personality Michael Evans gave repeated radio interviews claiming he had spoken with Abercrombie and the governor had admitted to him that he was unable to find in Hawaii’s vital records Obama’s long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate.

Within hours of WND’s report of the radio interviews, Evans retracted his statement, claiming he had only spoken with Abercrombie’s office, not Abercrombie himself.

Still, no long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate emerged or was acknowledged to exist by the Hawaii Department of Health.

Hawaii changes the rules

Then, as recently as last weekend, the Associated Press reported that Obama’s birth was recorded on page 1,218 of a vital records log book held by the Hawaii Department of Health, in an alphabetized last name list of children born in-state between 1960 and 1964, in an apparent attempt to document Abercrombie’s claim.

You seriously belief an investigation of any possible president to be is going to be made public?

As far as drugs are concerned - - I'm 65 - - probably most people my age have had some recreational drug experience. To expect anyone 13 years younger then me not to have any recreational drug experience is laughable.

Better vote for Romney - - as a Mormon - - he's your best bet to being recreational drug free.

You also "remember" the governor saying no birth certificate existed.... and that was just a story not based on any fact.

So your memory is just not to be trusted.

To be in the service, when I was in, 1983 to 2011, you could not do drugs. They tested us constantly. If you popped positive you were out.

As far as enlisting, some were able to get waivers for, how do I put this, "started drugs". But not hard drugs, no way. He would not have been able to enlist and certainly not get a TS.
