"Republican strategist Dee Dee Benkie revealed during a radio show appearance last night that the GOP establishment has resolved to prevent Ron Paul from winning tonight’s Iowa primary by offering sweetheart deals to move large voting blocks to vote for Romney or Santorum."

Who is the "GOP Establishment"? The media is the biggest factor in blocking out RP.

Please allow me to introduce you to the concept of the hydra, which in greek mythology was a many-headed serpent.

In our present example, the hydra coalition against Ron Paul consists of many different groups, including a good portion of the mainstream american media (as has been aggregated to the tune of about 96% or so under the auspices of 5 major corporations, headed by members of the Council on Foreign Relations), the national and state republican parties, and various (typically neo-conservative) talking heads/pundits/demagogues.

In this specific case, the Iowa state GOP is illustrating their intent to utilize party players (swing voters) who will obey orders from party leadership to spike Paul's heel and craft the outcome as desire to either the benefit of - primarily - Santorum or Romney, depending on how the decision eventually falls out.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Ron Paul has been campaigning hard in Iowa for almost a year. He SHOULD be the front runner.

That being said, Iowa is the ONLY state he will possibly win.

THAT being said, whoever is REALLY calling the shots behind the scenes (certainly not an elected official) would never let Ron Paul take office if he DID win. They would kill him first.

I guess we can always DREAM of a true Constitutionalist prez... *sigh*

Now now, no long faces. Paul is (last I heard) also polling first in a few other states...typically more western & independent ones, granted. Let's not allow ourselves to get too sucked into the negativity - my apologies for the same - as there are a lot of people waking up out there.

If we can get a good shake and fair showing in Iowa, likely second (MAYBE better depending on IA), and some others, expect that to improve.

The statement to vow RP doesnt win completely destroys democracy and the will of the people to decide who they want in power. If thats the case then those in power will have to be removed my force.

As a resident of Iowa, it has been made quite clear to many of us that are privy to certain circles that the delegates for RP will be pushed hard to vote for another candidate.

Not only that, all votes will be counted in "secret" under the auspices of potential Occupy intervention.

We are witnessing the rigging of a caucus and they are not even trying to hide it anymore!
