Rally for peace

Hey ATS. Instead of talking about how world war three will begin or unfold. Shouldn't we be discussing ways to prevent the war?

This may not be in your best interests but don't you think all those women and inocent children in Iran deserve to die in a pointless war? Do you want to be dragged into the army just because they need more troups? Do you want to die for a country that wants to destroy an entire nation full of sweet innocent children that never killed a fly?

Instead of going on about a war that might not happen, let's prevent that from ever happening. You'd be saving countless innocent people while youre at it and not have your children live with the fear of an air raid. It's time to stop this madness while it can be contained.

All humans have rights.

Exactly right. The innocent people of Iran will die just like the ones in Iraq, those people deserve better and we are in no place to harm them because our governments don't get along.

We've got to try. Besides who's going to go against the wishes of billions of people around the world. We're all above this &?$()/&?$()/ that we call war. Haven't we all gone beyond the need for such acts of cruelty. Aka slaughter of innocent people?

No I'm a fourteen year old Australian Christian bloke that believes that we don't have to fight wars to settle our differences. All of those people have rights under the international declaration of human rights. They deserve a chance at a good life. We all do.

And it's disgusting selfish pigs like you that make me sick.

Is anybody going to help me or are you just gonna stare at your computer screens all day playing games while people are dyeing out there for no reason whatsoever

Now you wonder why there is conflict? Everyone does not have my patience.
We can blame a lack of understanding each other. Every little thing is not a provocation and we should all be slow to argue. I wonder about war until I look at the man in the mirror and my own temper. It is a lack of forgiveness. Where is there a willingness to fight bullets with love? And when this gesture of peace, love and forgiveness is returned with more hatred and more bullets - AGAIN return fire with love. Not calling pigs.

After the second forgiveness PEACE can come because your enemy must slap you twice and get away with it before they trust you are not here to devour THEM, and before they will settle down and eat with you.

I thank you for helping me REALLY understand what is meant by turn the other cheek.

It means show kindness in the face of a slap TWICE. At least twice.
The nature of man is no mystery. We should be slow to anger and the more powerful we are, the slower we should be to anger. This is the sign of strength...the greatest strength is maintaining a peace. I also hope the US is capable of it.

I realize that many in corporate America would like the backing of its citizens in pushing for war with Iran.

War would bring jobs to a country in need of them. Jobs would help bring money and stability to the economy.

Many in the World are suffering from anxiety for something big to happen in the world during this year of 2012.
And a war would probably be what many would think they might like to see.

But War is Not the Answer

Thoughts Create Things. People need to rid themselves of negativity, stop contemplating what the powers in charge want you to push for.

Do you want to be even a little responsible for the murder of someone you don't know. For the murder of innocent children, maybe even yours, who would wish for only a harmonious life on this planet?

Stop and think where your thoughts are, what would you truly want for yourself in this world and just imagine that maybe the rest of the citizens in the world would like the same thing.

Maybe you should be petitioning Ahmadinejad? After all, he's the one killing innocent Iranian people. He's also the one poking his finger in the eye of the world community and instigating a war Iran cannot win. 

Where is the outrage over Ahmadinejad and the Mullahs for the deaths they've caused? 

The best way to PREVENT war is knowledge.

Ignorance is one major factor, ignorance/stupidity creates hate, creates war.

However, i don't really agree with you since you think that "Iran is a country full of sweet innocent children which don't kill a fly".

While it is sadly true that in many countries there are sweet and innocent children which don't kill a fly, people don't go to war because of sweet innocent children.

The reason for the tensions is the fact that Iran has a whack dictator who wants to build a nuclear weapon and i PERSONALLY think that he would use it without much hesitation once he has it. The other thing is that after his office is over, the NEXT Ayatollah is even worse, he is a radical, fanatic religious "cleric" which (from what i heard) is AT LEAST as nucking futz as Ahmadinejad.

I don't trust those leaders ONE BIT.

Do i want children, women and the common man on the street killed in a war? HECK NO!

But if you have a better solution, let us know! I don't think that sitting back and letting them build a nuclear arsenal is a smart thing to do.....in the long run, it will just cause MORE tensions and wars.

Then let's drag him feet first to the nearest courthouse and give him a fair trial. And by fair I mean letting wild dogs attack his groin and rip off his arms. Then pour salt over his wounds. Cover the resulting mound with tar and light him on fire. That will teach him for killing his own people.

There is no prolonging of the inevitable.

If this is going to work then we have to get that changed. That there is a loophole that allows the un to pretty much do whatever they like to Iranian children. I'm starting a website to organize the petition and I'm getting in touch with amnesty international. I'll post it in this thread.

Whether your with me or not I'm going to save those children from war.
