While I highly doubt this is a spaceship incoming to earth or anywhere else for that matter I am much more concerned that you consider that other site a "sister" to ATS. ATS stands alone or at least use too....if you and others are going to be reposting crap from there because you consider it a "sister" site then 2012 is going to be a sorry year.

As for the UFO or whatever it is as seen in the youtube video....doesn't appear to be anything to me...just MHO....kinda hard to swallow at all but since it comes from the "sister" site it really means nothing. At least do your own research instead of just reposting others work.

On a slightly more helpful note - I made an animated gif from the satellite images:

(Roars with laughter). Very fitting, as 1d8 is a much more plausible explanation than lens flare. I'm still leaning towards something flitting across the camera lens, but if I were to find out that this were the case, well...here's hoping I do well enough on my intelligence rolls to outwit the incoming horde of skavens. Or beholders. Or...

Hi watchZEITGEISTnow,

Thanks for bringing this strange info to our attention.
I read this whole very long tread, lot of people that tried to play the debunking card.
I also want to thank them for their efforts in this little ongoing role-playing game
I have to say that I am not convinced by any of their theories.

I just see a short movie with a moving octahedron in it.
OK, even for a UFO it is is a real strange one.
I this case I don't buy the lens flare explanations and such. The PDF on the used camera system was very useful.

Let's just wait, maybe there will be new material on this in the future.

I don't think I've ever read a thread where the OP is more hostile to criticism or negativity.

Someone suggests it might be moving in another direction and instead of explaining to them why it's moving towards earth like another poster has, he slings insults. Must be a very fragile ego.

...or satellites. Or Mylar balloons Or missiles gone out of control. And to be fair, those (and their like) are the correct identifications the overwhelming majority of the time...but there are a number of observed phenomenon that can't be explained away so easily, and it seems disingenuous to immediately slap one label or another on the footage that has been posted, regardless of whether or not said label even slightly suits.

UFO? Probably not, but there is no way to prove or disprove this with any certainty. Lens flare? Probably not, for the simple reason that the behavior and appearance of this object completely countermand other examples of lens flares offered by those who would seem to be in the know. Processing artifact? Maybe, but there hasn't been anything concrete offered to support that supposition. Space debris? This is where my sentiments lie, but if in fact the footage posted illustrates four days of celestial motion, then that conjecture would seem flawed.

This seems destined for the "unexplained" bin, and unless we're overrun by methane-breathing ronin some time next week, then it should be taken for what it is (an interesting galactic curio) and researched as time allows.

I did some searching for other pyramid shaped UFO's and here is what I found: they are photos starting in 1968.

Excellent find. Makes it even more a lens flare. Phage was right all along. The post was solved at page 7, please go back and read. No need for fantasizing more about this object.

But this object would be larger than our moon. Quite impossible and non practical.

What makes you say such a thing? IF it's real and IF it's alien, it's definatly not impossible and what makes you think impractical?
