I do see a big problem though with a US--Chinese conflict. The fact that both nations rely heavily on each other for their economy.

It's not in China's best interest to destroy their export machine, and vice-versa for the US in imports.

Nobody else is willing to make cheap Chinese goods, and nobody else is willing to buy them right now.

It's almost a catch 22.

For Me a glaring qualifier for "rogue", is the refusal of a London controlled central bank. The banking system is the front line of the NWO. I you resist it you will be set up just ask Gaddafi. Sorry if mentioned already haven't read the whole thread yet.
The USA is rogue in the enlightened sense but self justified in the box of propaganda.

Yes, their currency is clearly a point of tension, but, without China selling USA cheap goods and buying all of their bad debt, what would the US do. I have stated in another thread that if the US were to have a war and China got into it, as long as they made China be seen as the aggressor, then if US won the war, they could make China pay reparations and that might get rid of alot of the US's debt that China owns. I don't know how they would do that, but, I am sure somewhere there is a draft report sitting on someone's desk.

Yes - I agree with that.

Unless China does something Pearl Harbor v2.0 the reasons you state would be about the only reason I could see the US going to war with China.

Barring those, I think China could do basically whatever it wants and not "make the list" as far as "official US policy" is concerned for the reasons you stated.

Well kid, it's bad. Worse than ever.

The Soviets and the NASDAP Germans were both cruel, but here your police torture you with electricity right out in the street.

Those other countries at least had the goddamn common decency to bring you to a private room before they started the torture.

One of the best threads in a while! Congrats!

I guess in 10 years we will look back at the absurdities that have been going on especially in 2008-2011 and think "how on earth was that possible", just the same way as we currently think about hitler and what he did.

I have witnessed absurdities by the government for over 45 years... I don't have to look back 10 years from now.

What a crazy world we live in! I really wish we had more thinkers here; bottom line, we don't. With all of this "See something, say something", or whatever the freak it is, trust and believe they are conditioning our neighbors, our friends, and associates to turn on one another. And turn on one another they will!

Just look at the Occupy movement. They divided and conquered on that deal. Instead of everyone truly focusing together on a very serious problem they had super sock puppets and the MSM to destroy any harmony that might come between the left and the right. We had (have) a common cause, one we could really unite together on, but those fuggers turned it into a left right thing. I am so sick of that crap!!!!!

Can you not see that?? Come on now, look harder!

Sock-Puppet....does anyone know what that is?

TPTB hire companies that have software that assumes multiple online personalities. Thus one person can be ten different people, online, so we think. the software allows them to keep track of posting and personality traits. So you can be on a thread, for instance, defending a position, next thing you know you have three or four people using specious arguments, diverting the topic, offering up dubious factoids, et al. Or here is the big one: Making # UP!!!!!!!

I have seen it so many times. I have watched a breaking news event get posted somewhere, and then I have seen the spin begin. One such event was the missile back in the summer that shot out of the ocean, in So Cal. I personally saw it, then later saw tape of it, and was online the whole time. I saw the cover story start on a different conspiracy site. So, some member, who supposedly has site cred starts talking about how it wasn't what we all saw, and that it was a fuggin commercial airplane. So I start surfing around my regular haunts and this bull# story is spreading like wildfire. Anyway, we know theMSM lies to us, we must be prepared for the infiltration of our alternate news sources

There are many of us who do not turn a blind eye to our government's negative actions and misdeeds. However, I am still able to voice my opinion and fight for what is right freely. Some may argue this because of laws being passed and yet here I am a US citizen, fully able to express myself. I as many also see the greatness that US citizens have done in this world and do everyday. Judge my country based on a skewed view that is biased if you like. You are free to do so.

But do not forget that the American people are better people than you let on in this thread. I love my country and the people within in it for many reasons. Even when I find great dismay and fault in my Government's decisions, I will always have faith in it's people.

The United States is not perfect. That's a given. It strives to be the best it can be and it is through the people that it achieves this.

I could bash other nations for there inequalities and lack of freedoms and poor records on human rights and liberties. But what would be the point? Every Nation's government is the same essentially. It's people however are not always the same.

This is the difference between folks like yourself and folks like me. We see the bad in things but we strive to see the good and make good where we can. Judge my government if you will but do not generalize my people. It is the greatest mistake anyone can ever make and I will fight to the last drop of my blood to defend the great people of my nation. Not because of my government but because I have pride in my Nation's people.

Many other Nations have that same pride. I have been to over 40 countries in my life span and I have yet to see any that rival the sincerity and kindness of the United States citizens by far.

I always get a little smile on my face when I see a tilde where a star should be above posts by guys like heavierthanlight.

On topic though, I don't think that very many people who post verbal effluent like he are actually paid shills. I think it more goes along with what tothetenthpower was saying in his subsequent posts on this thread, that we are even less free because so many of us live in a prison of the mind and are our own jailers.

Under the "Human Rights Violations" you can include torture and performing medical experiments on unsuspecting victims. Plenty of documentation on that.

You have put forth some reasoning behind why Obama signed the NDAA bill, I mean if you have figured out what America really is and there agenda as a nation then "they" are going to need a why to SHUT... YOU... UP and me and anyone else who belives and agrees with you.

See you on the other side.

There is no innocent nation on Earth.

Every country in some way has caused terror and terrorism. Every country has stolen land. No nation is built upon land that is its own.

Therefore, this whole argument is flawed. A rouge state does not exist. It's just a place on Earth that sucks a bit more than everyone else.

As for the United States, there are still 320,000,000 people whom are able to, on most accords, write and say what they want, and go places in the world. If you are in America and have a good worth ethic, you pretty much have a guarantee to be rich and possibly famous. No doubt this is still influence by origin and skin color, but it's still better than most.

Iraq was a disaster of a war. And yet, in failure, Iraq is not more powerful and stable than most of the middle east, even with its recent problems. So I really have no reason to call the US bad. Misguided at times yes. But thanks to a huge bureaucracy, no president has the ability to do anything in his life time that will end as he wishes. And that is adequate time for a new president to be elected with new policies. And for all the hell bent hate to Obama. He did not fook up Iraq like Bush.

To conclude, I love my nation, and I see no reason to doubt it as being the best one in the world, even under the current leadership of power hungry men.

Not that old anti USA propaganda 'Human Rights Violations' implying Gitmo bay again. It's another tired old refrain, use to bash USA on anything connected with its push for better human rights in the world.

Gitmo bay indiscretions by the republican moron Bush and Darth Vader Cheny had happened. It is a fact and no need of any whitewashing. It is criminal and most certainly against every tenet of UN human rights, even if countries such as Iran, Turkey, Thailand, China, North Korea, etc practices FAR worse tortures upon those in jails today, and worse still, many of whom are only political dissidents.

BUT Humanity had been quick to react on the Gitmo Bay issue once those evidences were clear, and demanded for change and better treatment to happen. And it happened. No more torture allowed, even on heinous wild beasts whom will most certainly NOT think twice to blow themselves and innocents if given half the chance.

Point is - Humanity had been willing and ready to change, should an error occur, inorder to progress. Thus, may those would-be animal Jihadists take note. Innocent humans do not deserve to be blown to bits. I weep for the many thousands whom had perished in their hands, christians, muslims, jews, buddhists, hindus, atheists, etc, for every innocent human life is precious and means something special to another, unique and gifted creations by our common Creator who loved us all.

We are no longer living in the barbaric 7th Century Arabia. This is the 21st Century, with RULE OF LAW to address any greviances, even if we are flawed still, but we had progress from then to today. Justice and education is avaliable to all now. With the advance and rise of the internet, NO single nation tyrannical underhand means goes undected for long, as the Tunisian uprisings had proven.

But my tears are not weakness nor softness. It is the gel that hardens one's resolve to ensure that every single one of those son of a bi*tch Jihadists be made to face justice, one way or another, as long as mankind lives, even at the cost of my own life so that many more others may live, just as the thousands of international troops, intelligence and security officers from the free world had sacrifice theirs to stop them in the recent wars fought.

...and Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Not as new as Gitmo, but, in the long term it is way worse. Only country to use the bomb so far.

Not an excuse, but Hiroshima and Nagasaki happened at a time of world wide war, with the brutal kamikazi Imperial Army regime unstoppable and hell bent on Gottermederung policy of annihilating even their own citizens. And futhermore, it was a first time that the bomb was created, even the scientists who made it had second thoughts.

But it was THE ONLY act that could stop the craze regime. It worked. This is not an excuse for the thousands japanese that had died in those 2 cities, but it certainly did saved MANY MORE around the world once that awesome power was unleashed, AND SINCE THEN, had USA ever used it again? None.

Not even during the 50s Korean war when it could have nuked China, who had no such bombs then, to bits when they crossed the border to help the NKoreans. Nor in Vietnam when a nuke to Hanoi would have made the command structure crumbled, rather than to withdraw, let the corrupt S.Vietnam fight on their own and over-run by the commies, a doctrine hated by american McCarthy era politicians then.

Only countries such as USSR once threatened to do so in the Cuban crisis, as well as today - Iran, with their often qouted and excused away as ' misquouted' threat to wipe Israel off the map. Even China CCP gov had not mentioned that word, nor had the Nkorean regime, despicable as they are.

Stop the anti-USA bashing now. There are FAR WORSE hate filled propaganda against those whom only seek to ensure our world survives from those whom are hell bent on destroying mankind. Propaganda will get us nowhere. Only truth, no matter how painful it may be, can help in our progress and evolution.

Seek the truth, and comprehend it yourself, and only then can you be convinced, for no mortal can convince you if you already had pre-conceived notions and judgements against another.

what i don't like is, we're all here sweating over something that MIGHT happen in iran or china, while meanwhile, in africa, black nigerians and black libyans are being genocided because they are christians or were supporters of qaddafi. yes genocide! right under our noses and no one is talking about it in their little dissertations about how our media is controlled! well, take a good look at nigeria and libya, and while you're at it, check how many christians are being slaughtered in egypt, and then we'll talk about how the news is controlled, even the alternative news. the filter of bias is so obvious.
