Obviously we're all going to die one day. While we don't know if it's going to be in 40 years or 3 days, it's going to happen eventually. That means
we have a limited amount of time, we only have so many minutes to spend alive. And time is a one way track, so every minute that we waste is one that
we can never get back to use more effectively.
My New Years Resolution is to do my best to spend my time as wisely as possible. Put the amount of time spent doing pointless things like watching
television (which thankfully I've already basically stopped doing), playing videogames, aimlessly surfing the internet, and so on, to the bare
minimum, as little as possible.
Instead, spend that time educating myself and doing things that benefit me. Spend the time that I have reading and studying things that I'm interested
in. Science, history, you name it. There are so many things in the universe that we can learn about, and so many things that I wish I knew more about,
things like Astronomy, Physics, Biology / Marine Biology, Anatomy, Evolution, Chemistry, the list goes on and on.
I don't want to look back when I'm about to die and regret wasting so much time, and die wishing that I'd spent it doing more important things, like
trying to educate myself, increase/expand my knowledge of the universe, and even trying to make the world a better place through whatever methods I
see fit like campaigning for Ron Paul
That's mine, and I hope I can follow through with it.
