I know not everyone is a Alex Jones fan, but he did just do a quick interview with Jesse Ventura about Ron Paul. Jesse definitely stated he backs Ron Paul.

I searched for this video but couldn't seem to come up with it as being posted all ready so just thought I'd share in case you missed it or might be interested.

That would sure be a interesting government run. Obama Clinton, Paul Ventura. Wonder if this is a way they are trying to put out feelers, you know, in that subtle way they seem to do to get the pulse of the people.

He's been popping on Alex's show a lot lately, they are practically roommates as far as time spent together.

Can you imagine a Ron-Jesse spot on the ballot? The MSM would have a field day with it. I bet real cash money that G. Dubya wouldn't get re-elected in 2004, especially after the failures of the 9/11 retaliation, the missing WMDs, and the mainstream release of Fahrenheit 911... yet it was like none of those things ever happened.

If we had any control over that vote, we wouldn't be in the predicament we're in now.

was wondering about what he thought and about who RP would want for VP.
Seems like most agree(from the site anyway) on Jesse...Jesse Ventura (26%, 2,036 Votes) in second after Andrew Napolitano at (30%, 2,332 Votes), on the RP fan site poll of who should be VP.

Is this really a good thing?

I dont mind Jesse and think he has some good ideas but I imagine most Americans would think hes Bat***t crazy!!

I dont know that this guy who was obviously gonna be an RP fan should be actually advertising it.

RP's vp choice is of the utmost importance in this election because his probability of assassination will be higher than any candidate in history. Past elections have shown the vp choice to be based on how many votes he or she might add, and very little to do with their ability. But if RP gets the nomination, he will scare the hell out of tptb, and just like JFK got in the way of the war machine 50 years ago, RP's election would severely affect Haliburtons, etc's bottom line. We need a Jesse or judge Nap to lend some continuity to this revolution. I know this is morbid logic, but these are "the times that try mens souls."

Fox and CNN were waiting for this... They kept hounding Jesse in regards to this and all he said was he would support Ron ONLY if he ran as an independent. America knows Jesse is a "conspiracy nut"... So they probably can't wait to run with this.

I love Ron Paul and actually got to see him speak live and in person last night.

I don't think an endorsement from the villiage idiot does one thing to help him.

The talk radio guy are already trying to link Paul with the 9/11 "truth" nuts, so this endorsement can only hurt him in the eyes of the mainstream public and will only hurt his chances of changing the minds of the average GOP voter.

What do you mean "trying to"? They don't have to try to link him, the work has been done for the MSM. Look around this site for a few minutes. Conspiracy theorists and Ron Paul worship all in one stop shopping!

Trying to? He's linked and that's a fact. Not by his own doing, but linked all the same. No need for the MSM to try to link him.

And if I were Ron Paul, I'd be trying to distance myself from Jesse Ventura's endorsement ASAP! That's no better for generating voting interest; it only makes him viewed more as a fringe candidate.

Media Cover-Up... Secret vote count? what’s next? The media is going to spoof Americans; Look at Google Trends, Ron Paul search volume is up, but news about Ron Paul consistently is low... wake up people

This was a great interview, I love hearing those two have a discussion. Jesse Ventura's closing words were really inspiring:

"Chin up, keep the fight up. Let's take our country back-- and we can do it with Ron Paul."

This is a blow for Ron Paul.

Yeah, I guess it's better that Kelly Clarkson has endorsed him. Your average American doesn't really care about an ex governor and veteran who questions authority and puts his country and the Constitution first supporting a presidential candidate who shares a similar background, the winner of American idol supporting him is what's really important!

Actually, you're correct. It IS better for Kelly Clarkson to endorse him. She is not seen as a conspiracy nut by the media and therefore cannot harm Paul's campaign.

There is not a single Ron Paul supporter I know who watches mainstream media or supports them in any way. Because for the most part, they're informed about their corruption and their agenda.

So this will not turn any Ron Paul supporters away. Potential Ron Paul supporters who were on the fence about him? Maybe seeing some "conspiracy nut" being slandered by the media supporting him would turn them away, but I really don't think so.

Somebody supporting you doesn't mean you share every belief that they share. If a Nazi supported Mitt Romney, that doesn't mean that Mitt Romney shares the beliefs of the Nazi ( although I think he does have a lot in common with Nazis
), you know?

It's not like I expect Ron Paul to gain supporters through the media anyway, that's just silly. They've been slandering him, pushing propaganda, blacking him out-- you name it, since day one. While they might take this and try to paint his supporters as a bunch of kooks, the idea that a certain "well-rounded" person endorsing Ron Paul will gain him support due to mainstream media coverage is laughable.

If Ron Paul cannot gain supporters through the media it's impossible for him to become President. Do you understand how elections work?

You cannot become President without mainstream support, and you cannot get that support without the media. That's delusional.

He is not going to get any mainstream media support, because the MSM is scum. They try to discredit him and make him look bad every chance they get. Their intentions are not to support, endorse, or make Ron Paul look good in any way, shape, or form.

Ron Paul will win through his supporters spreading the word. Passing our flyers, phone-banking, donating to moneybombs, doing whatever they can to spread the word. Expecting the media to do that for us is what's delusional.

Sorry, but Fox (above) has it right. If you don't think that Ron Paul has or will have support from anyone other than fringe elements, and he does not and will not appeal to mainstream America, then Ron certainly should not care who endorses him and what their stature is in mainstream America. Why? Because there is no way for him to be nominated as the Republican candidate. Further, he would not ever be a realistic option for President.

So, yeah, let's get a Ron Paul/Jesse V ticket going. It doesn't mean anything, but at least you will have something to do for the next 11 months...

I suspect that Ron Paul feels differently than you about where his endorsements come from. Why raise and expend the money needed, much less expend the energy and time, if you think nobody in middle America takes you seriously?

We're on the same side. I like Ron. If I was American, I'd vote for him.

But he can't win through his supporters spreading the word alone. Just my opinion, but recent history has shown it takes a LOT more than that.

Dude he has tons of support from other elected officials. His support base is not limited to Alex Jones and Jesse Ventura. These are from Iowa alone:

We'll have to agree to disagree. When passing out superbrochures, 90% of the people I talk to react positively and seem interested when I tell them a little about him. If 1 million supporters handed out 100 superbrochures, that's 1/3 of the nation reached right there. If 100,000 supporters handed out 1,000 superbrochures, that's also 100 million reached. Don't underestimate the power of the individual.
