Here is a video of former Israeli president clarifying how extraordinarily wealthy is Israel. The US tax payer gives Israel $15 Billion of free money, 0% interest loans, grants and credit. On top of that, Obama gave Israel a further $30 billion over three years last year..

With that kind money coming in every year even Somalia would be able to buy up Manhattan, Hungary, Romania and Poland. You don't need "dynamism" to flash cash but gloating requires humility; don't expect that from Israel.

I'd just note this Speech took place in 2007. I don't know about anyone else...but a year before Bush would leave office and prior to the reality of global financial Armageddon coming into it's terrible focus seems like a thousand years ago in another version of Earth I dimly recall some days. Who would ever have believed, if told in 2007, that the world as they knew it then would be almost unrecognizable just a few years later?

If Israel had ideas on buying parts of Europe...I think economic realities turned those dreams into as much trash as the many hopes people have for a better and more prosperous New Year to come. Much of that money is used to buy weapons, armaments and technologies from.....you guessed it. US Companies. Those US Companies have ties with the US govt who approve of the payouts and rewards those ties with campaign funds, all-expense-paid "fact finding" missions and golf-weekends in Hawaii. This is nothing but a 1 big kickback scheme.

True but a lot of the money goes straight in to Israeli pockets, about $4 billion a year. The rest is recirculated as kick backs to politicians who vote in zero tax for imports of Israeli goods and products, the money funds Aipac and similar orgs to manage which American politicians run for office.

Also some of the money is to bribe politicians to pass other laws such as allow American Jews to serve in the Israeli Army. I wander what would happen if an American wanted to serve in the Russian army? And laws to allow Israeli firms to invest and take American technology firms and bring the manufacturing to Israel such as Intel.
