Colt LE6940 AR-15

I'm not sure if this is the proper forum for this topic or not...but it was the "closest thing" i could find in the forum lists

Basically, im hoping there's someone out there who has run into the same problem I have and has figured it out.

I bought an engraved ejection port cover to put on my new AR15 (colt le6940) only to find out I have no idea how to remove the ejection port cover.

It's much - much - much different from your standard AR...this thing looks like it takes a special tool or something (it does not have a slide out pin that comes out the side...the sides are actually closed off)

Anyone got any idea?

I hate to be the barer of bad news but if u have the same model my brother had this is a common complaint that the colt version doesn't interchange aftermarket parts, even the cover won't take anything but stock now I cld be mistaken but I'm at least like 50% sure well ill say 46% sure lol I know its not exactly a great answer but wld rather u know ahead of time. Well I hope I'm wrong and good luck.
