Yes they are a disgustingly backward hostile country and a breeding ground for terrorism but unless they actually commit any act of war or aggression against other nations the UN will never allow it.

What folk like you never seem to realise is that America has never gone to war or invaded anyone. It is the UN i.e. many nations UK, France, Aus, Scandinavia, Spain, Italy, that have allowed and collectively implemented extended military engagements such as Iraq.

Who the hell ever heard of any instance in history where a country is invaded and the invading forces just leave voluntarily after peace has been restored? (Except for maybe that wee skirmish called World War Two.) That's called peacekeeping you numpty's. It's neither a ''war' or an invasion.

If Iran commits any act of hostility yes, that's what will happen, but there is no way we will just steam in there because we have suddenly had enough of their crap. The UN needs better reasons than that.

Iran could build the most up to date and longest range nukes money can buy but it is impossible for them to reach any targets beyond the mid east as the defence systems would destroy them before they got anywhere near us. Dozens of Satellite mounted rail guns have been up there for years just waiting for that.

Unless Iran has a secret fleet of submarines no-one knows about worrying about them nuking us is like worrying about being hit by a train on a disused railway line. Just silly.

America used to covertly supply Iran with depleted uranium in the 1970's from it's facilities on US soil. I think they must have had nukes for some time. Really isnt a good enough reason to start on them. After the way Iraq was bluffing about its nukes I think they would make damn sure Iran actually had these things before we went steaming in.

Someone had an outstanding photo/image thread on here a couple months ago, I believe it was. The skyline of Tehran could have been any Canadian or American city. So could many of the surface streets. Not Times Square, but hey..they don't want that either. What gives us the right?!

I want to see how close it comes to Hollywood's depictions of detonations as seen from space. I really do.
