you are currently a slave to money, but you haven't the first clue as what it would be like to be a slave without it, and if no one had any money and were enslaved utterly all their efforts to control the world would bankrupt them, as it is coming to, it can only fail as it always has

What makes you think that we (Collectively) are going to be slaves with NO money?
We will most likely have just enough to survive and NO MORE!!!

When people have NOTHING in life to be happy for they resort to just being happy to be alive.
If this were not the case then there would be no such things as sweat shops.

Sure, a few people off themselves now and then, but they are quickly replaced with new "employees"
who are just......'happy to be alive'.

Make sense?

I have a feeling that if Paul becomes president the people will be disappointed. One man can't save a nation; the people must be their own salvation. Unfortunately the majority of people will ignore the pot and cry while the kitchen burns.

We shouldn't put all our chips into the Paul basket. We need to start making efforts to save ourselves rather than wait for a magic cure to our problems.

Revolutions seldom work, and a violent revolution in America, as desirable as it may appear to some people, would only provide a short term, skewed solution to current problems. We need to make plans to instill within the system long term, lasting change.

The unwanted reality of our situation is that we cannot quickly or easily fix it. It took generations of bad governmental practices to create this climate, it will take generations of good governmental practice to stabilize it. For this reason, it is important for us to focus on educating children on matters such as the evil practices of our government. It is the duty of youth to fight corruption, so let us show them the corruption. If children are raised with contempt towards a contemptible government, they will put themselves in positions where they are able to fight corruption and benefit the people.

The only way it can be fixed is that the federal reserve be gutted and put to rest indefinitely, and that all persons directly involved globally that caused this situation be brought to justice and all their assets be seized and be equally divided in stimulus to every american.

and that all outside debt be defaulted and no payment be sent

shut the IRS down

pump silver and gold back into the economy and stop buying foreign oil

clean up our political act and focus on the creation of free energy and end corporations

It's time to put your money where your mouth is people. Well almost, and maybe I should say like the Founders of this once great nation that it is time to put everything you have, where you stand. I draw the line with the 3% crowd. I would suggest finding where you stand. I have not been pro or anti Anonymous in my time, but these words are theirs, and I will get behind this:

A Declaration

We are anonymous
We ask that you post the following in public places
Whereas, on the 14th of December, 2011, the House of Representatives of these United States voted in favor of indefinite military detention, without charges, of any American, anywhere, anytime, without due process of law, at the discretion of the government alone;
Whereas, on the 15th of December, 2011, the Senate of these United States voted in favor of the same bill;
Whereas, the proscription against the use of military force to police the populous has been an essential feature of American civic life and civic liberty since the arrival of our civilization upon this continent;
Whereas, the wanton violation of this proscription was one of the chief causes of the separation of the American peoples from their government in Great Britain;
Whereas, the Constitution so chartering the government of these United States does not grant this power;
Whereas, the Constitution forbids the addition of any power not enumerated to the general government;
Whereas, the use of such draconian measures has been an essential feature of the enforcement of tyranny by totalitarian governments of the 20th century, including, but not limited to, the Nationalist-Socialist government of Germany, the fascist government of Italy, the government of the United Soviet Socialist Republics, and the government of Vietnam;
Whereas, the use of such draconian measures is carefully calculated to quash all political dissent amongst a captive people;
Whereas, the codification of such draconian measures effectively nullifies all civil liberties the people may hope to hold;
Whereas, the codification of such draconian measures are the last act in the quest to hold a people captive to the rapacious will of their government without recourse;
And whereas, the codification of such draconian measures is an act of war against the populous at large;
Therefore, be it declared that a STATE OF WAR formally exists between the Government of these United States and the People of these United States.
We, the People of these United States, declare any and all attempts to enforce the provisions of HR 1540 to be unlawful, void, and of no force.
We, declare ALL WHO voted in favor of HR 1540, and ALL WHO attempt to enforce HR 1540 to be traitors to these United States, punishable under law.
We, SHALL DISOBEY, APPREHEND, OR RESIST WITH DEADLY FORCE, in our discretion, any person who attempts to enforce the provisions of HR 1540.
We, SHALL NOT aggress against any employee of any American government who shall not attempt to enforce or aid and abet the enforcement of HR 1540, they being as trapped as the rest of the populous.
Such STATE OF WAR shall continue until HR 1540 is stricken from the code of law, and all who had hand in HR 1540 are brought to justice under due process of law.
Signed and witnessed by we, the individual citizens of these United States, below:

HELL, he even tried to be your President so he could turn it all around.

Even if elected how can he "turn it all around". The office of President doesn't make the laws.

Actually yes it is. And I'm already on their list for sure, so Molon Labe.

President Obama has signed the defense authorization bill that funds Pentagon operations,

The problem you face is that your definition of patriotism may no longer be the one adopted by the federal government, and you may find yourself an enemy of the state by declaring a love for what is perceived to be the American way. Freedom of speech (sedition and dissent), right to bear arms (carry guns, not develop big hairy paws with sharp claws), right of assembly (riotous assembly), Mom and Apple Pie (especially if made with GM free home-grown apples) (threat to Business and environment), drive big cars (eco terrorism), and Sports on a weekend (bread and circuses as per the Roman Empire, to keep you quiet).

We live in dangerous times, the elite have isolated themselves from our reality, they have usurped power and destroyed free and open government, the people live in fear of their government rather than the other way round. The America of today is not that which broke away from Imperial rule from Great Britain and established a free and open democracy, it's becoming that which it hates (or at least used to). I fear for all of us if the USA falls to totalitarianism.

Dr. Paul deserves more credit than any other person running right now. It's sad to see that he does not receive more support from voters. You are right, by the time people realize how messed up our government is and start being patriotic, it'll be too late for any change. This bill is just one of many coming up that will gradually and systematically take over the rights of the people. Just one other reason to vote for Dr. Paul in the coming election.

If the provisions of the NDAA were so evil, then why didn't Ron Paul show some leadership and go back to Washington and do the job he is being paid for and stop it?

I agree that there are provisions of the NDAA that shouldn't be there, but I don't believe Ron Paul has the leadership skills to solve many of our problems.

If you don't think Ron Paul is worth your vote do you mind telling us who you think we should vote for?

Maybe because he saw his son Rand Paul do exactly that in the senate and it still passed 93-7??

Ron Paul is not a fool, he had better things to do than to waste his time trying to change the minds of traitors.

Hey. Every time the government runs out of money, they walk down the street to "The federal Reserve" and ask for more.

How do you think the US got its unimaginable debt?

Fighting terrorism with these methods is doing more harm than good. I don't understand why people aren't contacting their elected officials and demanding answers.

Too busy being distracted I would guess. People work all day, come home tired, watch TV, then go to bed. Wake up, and repeat all steps again.

Would it matter if they occupies the White House...? Really with all the occupy this and that US wide, what did they actually accomplish...?

Did any bills get passed or vetoed...?
Did the government change anything...?
Banks are still in business...?

I know what they did produce, urine and feces in the parks, families and children could not go near the park, oh not to mention the millions upon millions of dollars the cities had to pay for police overtime paid by me the one that works for a living.

I am all for OWS if they actually were able to make a difference...but they did'nt.

And please leave your "they enlightened people" crap, even slaves are enlightened while being whipped.

Ya that's what I figured out. Anyway, even if Obama doesn't sign it in the next few days, it's gonna become law because of the 10 days rule.

He is absolutely right. Indefinite detention without access to due process, with the power given to the president to pick and choose who he designates as a terrorist is one of the defining attributes of a totalitarian state.

The Patriot Act already reserved these rights for the POTUS.

This bill really just affects other countries.

Where were all you Paulites when Bush was pushing that little ditty through?

Oh yeah, you were screaming 'freedom fries' and duct taping your houses.

State Plus Corporate power is Fascism. We have been semi fascist since the fifties.

Now that there is a Democrat with some extra melatonin you want to get all outraged and pretend that this is some huge derailment of our American way.

I call BS.

Not me, I had a fit. I was going BANANAS during GWB terms and screaming police state as loudly as I do now. There are certainly plenty of people sporting selective anger (tantrums only directed at particular party wings) but I guess that the psychological aspect of team mentality that festers our political envrionment.
