IMHO - TPTB are Shoving Mitt Romney Down Our Throats.

Now this week Donald Trump has announced that he's going 'independent' and people are now speculating about him making a 3rd party run thus splitting the vote away from Romney. I anticipate something will 'come out' about Trump in the next few weeks ... something that can't be proven but that is negative and will spread like a wildfire ... something that will cause him to either not run or will make him drop out if he has declared his candidacy.

And I'm sure it would be TPTB who want Romney who will start the rumor.
I won't be able to prove it. But if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck ... it's TPTB.

I agree that Romney is being put forth as the only GOP contender... I'm just not sure who's behind it. I DON'T think it's your average Republican voter. I don't see Mitt as representing a conservative point of view. He's way too centrist to appease most Republican voters. If it's the media pushing him down the throats of the voter, then they are being pushed by the PTB. MSM is just the mouthpiece for GOP power.

I doubt Trump is a threat. At all. He's a joke and everyone knows it. He had his 15 minutes of political fame. He'll fizzle and wilt in Mitt's shadow before long, just like all the rest.

Well ... we actually agree on something. Jon Huntsman for the republicans. Then if we could get the dems to put forward Bill Richardson we'd actually have people qualified to do the job and worthy of the title POTUS. But of course, that's not what TPTB want, so 'we the people' won't get it.

I like Bill Richardson, too, but that's not going to happen either... It will be interesting...

Mitt is a communist piece of dung like almost every clown in Washington, DC.

Obama should not serve a 2nd term unless you WANT to stay on our current path. The Obama experiment has failed miserably.

However, other than Ron Paul, the GOP does not have a valid candidate. Newt and Mitt are 100 percent for big government and will continue the current trend we are on.

Ron Paul will not with the GOP nomination. Just isn't going to happen no matter how much I want it to happen.

Vote for the guy/or gal on the ballot who does not have any ties to the Dems or the GOP. Shake it up a little.

I've always kinda liked him, too.

There are two guys that I could support without much in the way of reservations. Gary Johnson, as I've mentioned before. Bill Richardson.

There's a third, though I view him with some skepticism, and that would be Ron Paul, though I simply can not shake those reservations.
