UGS-US3+ November archived for posterity
that 2012 page has 6172 icons on it so may take a while to load, I think its the first 2 maps that cause the delay, especially the Alaska one which has 1182 icons on it.

The text lead in says why I bother, if you wanted all Nov off USGS right now it would start on 4th of Nov, useless.

The graphs say all regions are down in numbers, except Hawaii

12/11/2012 Gulf of Alaska 6.3 and 98 aftershocks (mag5=1, mag4=2, mag3=23, mag2= 72)
at 385 hours (16 days). In fact at that point they just stopped.
GoA interactive map with elapsed times on each event.

Again, you can see the same on USGS map right now, but in 8 days that data will be gone from there.

I'd say this is a result of the Queen Charolette Is. 7 quake and lead into the 5.8Mw 44km W of Anchorage, Alaska a couple of days ago (subduction).
The Pacific Plate going North.
That 4.5mb, 171km NNE of Mayo, Canada, 2012-12-05 14:35:00 this morning NZDT could be the end of it, or there may be one even further north at the Arctic circle in the next few days, maybe
I'll do the usual Network plots and area history when I get a chance.

Oh?
you may need to delete cookies to refresh the maps if you have been on that page before.
Its a quirk of using Dropbox storage of the file along with Google Maps, mainly Google Maps keeps putting the old address in there, which I have now deleted, so it won't show.
I had trouble with them loading myself last night.
The direct link for all Alaska 2012 is goo.gl...
for Nov only goo.gl...

it may be something to do with using the "+" in the addresses, when it goes into GoogleMaps and Wordpress it changes to "3%2B"

Sometimes Eric your posts are confusing as hell, but by the end of your post I usually get what you mean.

I tell myself that you are processing information faster than me so you are able to see a bigger picture evolve out of so much info. Whereas I am just left feeling confused. It's ok, eventually I catch up.

This post however left me scratching my head. I am left to think that the first links you posted will lead to a Sodom and Gomorrah like disaster while Mozart plays in the background.

Any clarification to help this slow witted brain of mine would be appreciated.

Missed it by THAT much, I did. I'd been tuned in to www.ustream.tv... watching/listening for most of the day, just one of those feelings to keep an eye on the area, I suppose you could call it. I'd just turned it off about 10 minutes prior to the quake.
