Curious question. :)

Does the staff of ATS get paid something for their time or do the do this on a volentary basis? Something I was just wondering.

Moderating on ATS is a voluntary responsibility. Moderators are not paid/compensated in any way, other than being allowed to participate in helping the board to be a better virtual place to gather and discuss topics intelligently and without the ignorance that so commonly reigns supreme elsewhere.

While not compensated monetarily there are gifts. My personal favorite is the extra large pink thong I got last year. It's very freeing.

I thank you for your service. It is such volunteerism to uphold an ideology that we can all improve if we all just try that makes not only this forum a better place, but I am convinced it spreads beyond these electronic boundaries.

the hush hush word in the white house has it that one of the owners has a thing for shoes, now since the code word pimp was used and seeing that this image below was circulated and infact it was originally in J.D. Hoover's files as a possible mechanism for the downfall of capitalism, i guess this is why the owners have been so mystically quiet these last few months.

Probably the Mods like to do this, and this board is quite large, so it should be quite satisfiying to see it all go so well.
