need some help to find a book

i read this book 20 years ago
it was about a ufo in orbit with two androids on board
influencing moses, noars ark, jesus and his miracles
it was a good take on how aliens played a part in our
religious beliefs

i hope some one remembers the name of this book
as i would like to read it again and maybe see what
ATSers think !

hey mary, closest i can think of is "thiaboula prophesy" I not sure of spelling "thiabula" or "thiabouula, anyhow it is great read of alien that takes human for a visit to her/his planet.

I don't suppose you remember the author's name? Or any other details about the story line? Or the approximate year(s) it was published? That would help a lot. I have read an awful lot of sci-fi books over the years but that plot line is unfamiliar to me..

Sounds almost familiar.

I read a lot of short stories as a teenager. Could be a longer short story or novella by, perhaps, Asimov or Arthur C Clarke? Sounds like their kind of style.

Or otherwise how about Ray Bradbury or Philip K Dick, the other SF writers I would regularly read?
