I am a jew, even if he is racist, he's still got my vote

Ron Paul, that is. He is no Adloph. The man wants to expand and restore our civil liberties, end unconstitutional foreign wars and aid, restore free-market capitalism and sound money, and clear out the corruption in our corporate-owned and opperated government.

Back in the 2008 election, I remember meeting an African American cab driver who was a major Ron Paul supporter. He spoke of Ron Paul's policies on sound money, and civil liberties. I doubt any intelligent person will be swayed by these newsletters from the 1980s. This is an attack meant to sway insecure minirities into voting for the corporate entities (every other presidential contender.

I believe that the true American spirit is that; we will fight for our dirty, A-hole neighbor's rights to live their crummy life the way they so choose, because this is the epitomy of freedom and liberty.

Bottom line; Even if he was a racist, he will fight to the bloody end to ensure every AMERICAN has the right to life, liberty, and property; regarless of race, religion, etc.

He said even if he was a racist, indicating the fact that the OP knows he is not, but wanted to put the notion out there that even if he was, what he stands for is worth voting for.

So op you mentioned you are Jewish.....

What do you think of Pauls views in relation to Israel not needing the US to continually intervene? Some are calling it anti-semitic and extremist views. I'd like to hear your take on it as you are actually Jewish. Personally, I think he's completely right, and the Israeli government already said as much.

He has not ever said anything of the sort. BUT he has said that the US should not be involved and Israel should be handling their own affairs. As well, he wants to cut off foreign aid, billions of which go to Israel. As well, apparently, in one of those newsletters someone said something about possible Israeli involvement with the first WTF bombing.

And apparently anything with Israel, Israeli, or Jew is automatically antisemitic

I believe we should stop funding them financially, and yes; let them be independent, keeping them as our strong and necessary ally. It is unfortunate that many Jewish people view this as anti-semetic, it only hurts the perception but I think it is necessary for the survival of the United States, and Israel. Israel is a potent world force that can survive without us; thrive even. The Israelis are strong, and good people.

With the amount of Ron Paul threads popping up on a pretty much pro Ron Paul board, saying "even if hes racist" just shows that the smear campaign, in-particular CNN is creating, is working.

The media know everybody on this planet could be tainted as racist, the worlds so fkin PC and nanny that they can smear anything into pretty much anything they want and the masses will accept it like they all have diabetes and the bull# the media is dishing out is the insulin. . Its a fkin joke.

I dont give a fk if Ron Paul is throwin darts at will smith's face in his spare time and dancing round a a KKK suit (which hes not) - but his policies are stopping war and showing the rest of the world that state power is the way forward, we dont need to be nannied by a handful of people. Id rather think that, than think the man elected is just doing what ever other president has done and that been ruled by wankers, err i mean bankers and big corps.

I'm eagerly awaiting your clarification as to how you could possibly get that from the thread title, or anything within the thread.

I agree 100% with you, it just seems to be a touchy subject around these parts of the intertubes. My view is that Israel will always have the support of the US, UK and Canada, and we will always come to their aid need be, but billions in aid to a country that's on pretty stable economic footing, isn't really helping anything at all.

I've seen some pretty vile antisemitism but I just can't see how his views would be considered as such.

Happy Chanukka....and Ron Paul is not racist, I beleive he is against stupid out dated actual racist things like bussing minorities into better school districts just based on their race and Affirmative Action both of which have proven to be epic failures.... why is it racist to want EQUAL judgement not trying to make some quota for jobs/educational placements?

Do you seriously think that ANY candidate will NOT tell you about the alleged liberty, property, prosperty, justice etc..you realize he wants to be president..do you expect him saying anything else?

What "bothers" me is that with that guy there is already inconsistencies BEFORE he is even in office...in other words i don't trust that persons one single bit!

The fact that he cant handle an uncomfortable interview is also very weak...a future pres should be able to handle such situations especially since he CLAIMS there is nothing to it. Weak, weak beyond belief.

The statement above is from the OP. It is at the bottom of the first post on this page and it answers your question. What it says, since you obviously can not read, is that IF Ron Paul held racist beliefs, he is STILL fighting for the rights of EVERY American regardless of race. So even IF Ron Paul hated black people, he is still fighting for the rights of black people. Get it yet Scooter?
