I'm beginning to wonder if I was somehow sucked into some alternate reality.... because I recall it being all over the news, about a year ago (perhaps a month or so more than a year), that Kim Jong Il was... "ill" and hospitalized.

.... But, apparently, I'm one of the few who seem to be aware of this... so i was just beginning to wonder.

That... or the universe is suffering some extreme packet sorting issues and the vast majority of forums serve as junctions between alternate realities where facts and history are ambiguous.

.... or people are just dumb.

But perhaps I've been overly judgmental all these years, and should consider other possibilities (like we are all the same person communicating across alternate realities... wouldn't that be a brain destroying revelation?).

There are some threads on ATS about it so dont worry your not too insane.

Although this did mess with my head a little

There have actually been several threads on here about people who were convinced that a certain celebrity had already died some time ago, only to hear recent reports of their deaths. Sorry, I don't really have a clue what search terms to use to find those threads - but there's certainly been a few of them in recent times.

And sure, Kim Jong Il had failing kidneys and was seriously starting to age, but then so was Bin Laden ten years ago when 9/11 happened, and it still took a decade and seal team six to take him out. The truth of the matter is, sometimes the death dealers don't want to wait around for nature to take its course.

I'm not certain I believe that this was an assassination, but I'm definitely not ready to rule it out just yet.

I think that the intelligence services may have had an agent or informer inside the establishment in North Korea , or possibly a medical professional in the hospital to which the leader would have been taken in the event of a medical emergancy or death. But I doubt that the death of the North Korean dictator had anything particularly to do with the efforts of an outside agency.

More likely is an informer got wind that something was amiss with the fellow, and reported as much to his handlers, and , fearing the worst, the Pentagon decided to do a last minuite rehersal if you will, to ensure that any action they might have to take, was provided for in terms of training. The potential for disaster in the region is enormous at this time, with talking heads questioning his sons capacity to rule, and uncertainty being felt that prompted military shuffling of feet from the Chinese, who are famously unflappable in such circumstances normally speaking.

Therefore, one can easily see how this apparantly strange bit of timing, could quite simply be prudence on the part of the US intelligence services, and military command.

Too many world leaders have fallen or been removed in 2011 for it to all be coincidence. I truly beleive there is a huge conspiracy goin on.

They are falling because they disagree with the NWO.
Just watch the first 20 seconds of the video and look at how the NWO map will become. Now I know we all know this, but what stunned me was how open to the world population this secret new World map is and how arrogant the elite are in saying to us, 'this is the NWO that we elite are going to shove down your throuts and there is now NOTHING you peasents can do about it !'

news.sky.com... =World_News_Carousel_Region_0&lid=ARTICLE_15417112_Muammar_Al_Gaddafi_Tells_Sky_Libya_Is_Sorry_For_1984_Death_Of_Yvonne_Fletcher
Note. This link might fail. Google search for Yvonne Fletcher, sky news and Gaddafi

Obviously Gaddafi didn't agree wit the NWO. Result - assassination !!!
Comply or Die !!!

They had to get it right the first time this time !

Watch N. Korea align with the world banking system all of a sudden.

N. Korea has industry but needs "upgrading".

The corporations will "invest" and exploit.

Highly unlikely. North Korea does not have industry, it has a rotting infrastructure and an agricultural sector that has been failing for years due to insane policies on the part of Pyonyang.

Here is something interesting I found on the net -
Chicago Tribune - N. Korean Leader Reported Assassinated (From 1986)

This article almost looks exactly like the Alex Jones article you guys are talking about. High placed sources in Japan, rumors about assassination and death, discontent among the military.....

Weirdly though when Kim Il Sung died in 1986, it was also on a Saturday and in November. Not to far off from the most recent. It even discusses the possibility of high level military figures in North Korea involved in a power struggle.

Coincidence? Or is AJ just updating an old rumor for spin?

The timing of this drill is very suspicious...

Just one week before?

Kim had been sick for a long time. To think we didn't have intelligence about that is silly. It's not a conspiracy, old people die.

^Correct...he's been on his death bed for quite some time. The US likely had heard that his health was deteriorating very fast.

If anything this gives me more faith in the Pentagon.

The Korean problem is a big one, glad to know they are working out the contingencies on paper.

Sometimes coincidence is just that, coincidence.

So how's that for a coincidence? The Pentagon holds a drill on North Korea regime change...just a week before Kim dies...

What are the odds?

Probably no coincidence at all. The US intelligence community must have information sources in North Korea, and Kim hasn't been a well bunny for quite a while. His death was only a matter of time.

So you must know Kim and the leadership well in China to make such grand statements?

How do you know what medical resources are available to the leader of a dictatorship? Better than those available to his people, I'll bet.

PS: I'm just waiting for the first person to tell me that Kim wasn't a dictator and that he had great approval ratings in his country :p

I prefer the word "synchronicity", but I do see your point.

I'm more inclined in thinking it is a natural death, as many have been saying how sick this man was. Sure, the US must have some informants within the regime, maybe they knew he was about to give up on life, though I would love to see the real reason of his supposed natural death (is it a heart attack or that mysterious sudden illness). I guess that at this point, I'm in a wait and see mode. Depending on what happens next, I'll be able to form a more complete opinion of this.

But still, I must say that not only is that drill timely, but his death is as well. Man, the world is just going so fast!

A few years ago he was the top customer of some fancy alcohol, like Don Perion (sp?) or something. He literally had millions of dollars worth of it imported for himself (of course the citizens didn't get any - I could be wrong, but I don't think North Koreans are allowed to have alcohol, I'll have to check later). I'm at work so I don't have time to find the source but I'll look it up later tonight and report back.

I'm sure he had MUCH better medical treatment than what North Korea has for its citizens.
