Occupy is a good movement in theory, but living in the policed state we do, it just gives the authoritarian regime a change to give us a free beating.. those riot police are not there to tell you to simply move along, they will move you along with a baton up your ass.

Assasination isn't the only "solution" to the Paul problem. If people in positions that he threatens really really fear him he wont even make into the election. If they think he is a threat but one they can manage they wont hurt him. They let him get the office but then bog him down from all sides by not co-operating and so on.

Not to the degree that Ron Paul is, he has stated that America will stop getting involved in foreign issues, that is quite a statement, I do not recall Obama making a statement like that.

Sadly they all come into that office screaming change, but eventually fall into lock step. I would suggest that Ron Paul, if elected, will do the same.

Unfortunately, many of his positions, while superior to his opponents, are so out of the media driven narrative, that people don't understand them (because they generally need to be spoonfed their opinions). And the media and his opponents are able to manipulate his words and positions into something completely at odds with reality.

Sorry guys, But the predicament we're in is our own fault bc we support media-friendly, charismatic fakes like Obama or, more than likely Mitt Romney, rather than someone with substance. When Television became common place in households, the republic's fate was sealed.

You guys saying Paul will be a shill for corporations are woefully misinformed and you probably aren't following the money. If he ends the Federal Reserve the first day he's in office, like he says he will, he will be assassinated and the revolution will start. I think he's willing to be that martyr, quite frankly.

Obama cannot be compared to Paul. Obama was a law student at Harvard, one of the Ivy League homes of the elite. Paul was a doctoral student from Duke. Lawyers manipulate people with their words and knowledge of legalese. Doctors help and heal people with their hands.

I have no doubt in my mind that he is one of the few non-psychopathic politicians left. He earnestly wants to help people and save this country from tyranny. He knows better than anyone where this country is headed on its current path.

Obama was and is a liar a fake and a fraud. He came from no where backed by the banking cartel and said what people wanted to hear. He is nothing more than a paid actor. He isn't even a corrupt politician. He changes roles like most people change their clothes.

I do not believe this will happen. I think with the amount military support the good Dr. Paul has and the technology out there compared to when Kennedy was assassinated. That they would not make that move. They are more apt to "pull the building" so to speak whether it's physical, financial or both.

Just remember that two bullets missed Andrew Jackson, and they failed to assassinate Reagen, so assassinations are not always so successful.

It is a valid fear due to what RP wants to accomplish. Messing with powerful people and institutions will be dangerous. It's only my opinion,but if an assassination were to go down there will be blood in the streets and maybe some of my own.
