He is soaring in the polls. He is giving speeches to packed halls. He is worshiped like a rock star by adoring fans who scream his name. He is eccentric 76-year-old congressman Ron Paul — and he may be Newt Gingrich’s worst nightmare. “Ron Paul has a lot of momentum right now and is appealing to a wide spectrum of people here in Iowa,” said James McCormick, political science professor at Iowa State University. Well there it is, NY daily news is saying the inevitable. The unelectable is very close to taking the cake in iowa and eventually the rest of the country. This is NY daily news a major US newspaper and they are conceding defeat. I will wait until the fat lady sings but this is really good news. They are saying: "“He is set to play spoiler." I am really excited about this. I want him to win Iowa and am hoping for a NH win and eventually florida. I think the southern states will be difficult, but this will be wonderful. I cannot tell how many times we fought so hard to get him debate time.

First they were ignoring him, making fun of him, and mocking him. Then they we fought for airtime and got a little; then the people became thirsty and asked for more. He is an oasis in the desert.

Newt Gingrich is Newt Gingrich’s worst nightmare.

He's cheated on all his wives, and you better believe he'd cheat on America. Has already.

And more Newt dream killing coverage -

The coal in Newt and Mitt's stocking: Ron Paul

While everyone was seeing Newt as the Gingrich who stole Romney’s Christmas, Santa was making his list and checking it twice. And he decided on a lump of coal for the two serial flip-floppers, Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich: Congressman Ron Paul.

In fact, Santa went so far as to wrap the coal in a note that read: Ignore Ron Paul At Your Peril.

Don't be fooled by the title and information like I was

They use all that to confuse people and keep them dumb so they are disinterested in doing things like this by the first paragraph.

I would suggest talking to your county office on elections and how it all works out while just showing general interest and gauge their personalities and positions without giving up your loyalties, they're most likely long time establishment gop insiders. It might be hard to get passed them and get a delegate position for the general election if you're not 'one of them'. For the GOP convention, I don't know what state you live in but talk to the RP campaign or try to get information from your local precinct or district election offices. Its so different for every state.

Here in California, since its winner take all for whoever wins the particular congressional districts gets all delegates per district so if Ron won my district, he would get 3 people and I might be one of them if his campaign chooses me to represent him at the GOP national convention. So if anybody here lives in California or anywhere for that matter, sign up to be a delegate ASAP on his official campaign site.

This is how we win.

"I cannot tell how many times we fought so hard to get him debate time. "- the so-called Professional

Care to explain how you personally fought for him to get debate time?

Coming on ATS and contributing to threads isn't helping RP win. Helping him win is, contributing thru donations to his campaign(if financially possible), talking to multiple people everyday who are NOT RP supporters, using FB and other "social media" to influence others, and many more ways.

Talk is cheap, but are you connecting with 20+ NEW people a day, to spread the word?

Well, many people are writing to the networks etc and are attempting to make the debates a more level field, and if he is this proactive about Ron Paul's campaign on ATS then why do you think he wouldn't be in the real world?

A lot of people are talking a good game, but this is serious Big B. This is the future of our country.

Us Ron Paul supporters need to be SUPER aggressive right now! There's no time to waste.

I will explain what I do EVERYDAY.

First off, I have an EXTREMELY HOT girlfriend(way too hot for me, but don't tell her). She is a huge RP supporter even b4 we met. I got her some RP gear and she wears it everywhere. Myself, I wore my RP gear so much to work , that they made a policy AGAINST political clothes at work!

Personally, I talk to everyone I see , at stores, gas stations, and any place I may be. Some pople say "I'm not interested in politics", to which I say "Why?". Most are mad and think it doesn't matter.

Explain to those folks how RP is NOT the usual politician!

Family and friends won't cut it Proff.

Please don't post any ONLINE polls as RP has dominated everyone of them. I'm well aware of how well he does in online polls.....so is Bill O'Reilly, which is why he disqualified him from his polls.

Please talk to "random strangers", encourage your "friends and family" to talk to others also.

Realize "Professsional", I'm not picking on you personally, but wanting everyone to get AGGRESSIVE in pushing RP. Get after those who "claim" they have no interest in politics because everyone "lies" and there's no point in voting. THESE ARE ARE TARGET PEOPLE. Let them know , HOW differnt RP is!

Don't count on it... while the headline of that article was nice... if you read a little further you see:

Paul, the longtime Texas congressman, is making his third bid for the White House, and while his unorthodox views leave him little chance of securing the Republican nomination, his quixotic quest is muddying the GOP field.

So they call him Don Quote and muddy water....

The MSM will be calling any wins a fluke, and say he has no chance until he wins the Republican Nomination... and then it will really get bad when he runs for the white house....

ETA: another example of the same crap reporting:

SIOUX FALLS — Ron Paul is a narrow choice among South Dakota Republicans in the race to be the GOP presidential nominee in 2012.

But Newt Gingrich is more likely to be the party’s nominee, they said.

That’s according to a poll by Nielson Brothers Polling, a Sioux Falls polling firm that conducted a statewide survey earlier this month. According to the poll, Paul, a Texas congressman, has the support of 22 percent of South Dakota Republicans, followed by former speaker of the House Newt Gingrich at 19 percen

He's starting to lead ALL the polls yet they still say he won't win....

Man, you are a real patriot. With determined and passionate people like you, Ron may just end up winning this.

Please don't call me a patriot, that I am not.

What you can call me is, terrorist, because apparently that is what a person is if he loves liberty, wants to restore the Constitution and is fighting hard against a tyrannical government that wants to evolve into the fourth reich.

Its not about me, its about all of us and our combined effort and that energy is what is going to win this election but we need to do it together.

Here in Davenport, IA, the Reader ran a cover story entitled "Walking the Talk." It was all in support of Ron Paul. I was thrilled when it came out.

I would be perfectly happy if Ron Paul won but that is not possible. He does not have the corporate money buying the election like Obama. Romney is merely a showman.

Obama has been chosen already as a CIA plant. The people are passive with Obama even though he does what Bush did 10x worse. There is no reason to believe Ron Paul can win the election. It ain't gonna happen. You Paul supporters are looney like the La Rouche crowd. I like you.

Just like it was not possible to become number one in the polls?

Like he was never a top tier candidate?

The spin is incredible. But the fact is he has in incredible base, and once you look at Ron Paul, who is is, what he's really saying, and his voting record.... you never go back to supporting another candidate.
