NVM my questions as to where you got it and why you contradict your own title by saying it may be Chinese.Clearly you got it online and you think it is Chinese because it is a Chinese decorative pestle.

The link above proves that it is just a pestle. Similar ones are for sale online....

Your wild guess was dead on.

It is a pestle. A decorative Chinese pestle....

And even sold online.

Hope the OP didn't pay a lot for it. It looks like they are a dime a dozen.

If the OP perchance purchased it from ebay...did they think ATS would not find out?

The bad part is, someone posted this knowing full well what it was and where they got it. I dont believe anyone would have bought something like that not knowing what it was. This is just as bad as all the UFO hoaxes.

Those thoughts were going through my mind as well.

Why do such a thing? Giggles?

It really is just as bad. It's these hoaxes and attempts to fool people that give people even more doubt to the entire subject. As if there were not enough doubt already.

Is it any wonder that so many can't take Aliens and UFO's seriously, with people pulling stunts like this?

To the OP, you made a claim with your title that an ancient alien probe was found....Then you contradict yourself and say that it might be Chinese in origin....

Then it comes out that what you have is one of several similar decorative pestles....

I am curious to know what you were thinking when you posted this.

Yeah, probably. Some one decides that they think it would be funny to try and pull one over on all the " Silly believers"...Well...Hopefully the OP knows now, that we here at ATS are not so silly...In fact we are the best of the best when it comes to finding hoaxes and exposing them.

OP, you don't have an alien probe at all, and you know that. I am curious to know how much you paid for that thing.... Similar ones are going for 30-60 dollars with a shipping rate of between about 18-26 bucks....

With all due respect? Was it worth it?

Quest for stars and flags methinks. I'm so tired of the newbie threads with that quest in mind.

Time to use that Flag Removal protocol ATS added just for such attempts as this to fool the masses on here.

Mods, I think it's time to move this thread to the HOAX bin. No?

We don't know who made it. But think it is a wand or septor.

Is that acarving of the great "Lemmiwinks" I see on the top?

2"d" or3"c" cells? kickstarted?

Not that there's anything wrong with that...What adults want to do with their uh "sceptors" is up to them..but for "Godsakes" I hope you washed your hands before posting!.

I agree. I have already alerted the mods, requesting just that....

In my opinion this is a hoax.

The title claims that an ancient alien probe was found.... Well, it wasn't.

They bought a pestle online..... an ugly one at that.

Abductions through the ages, and well known in certain circles. And the ancient Chinese weren't lacking a good sense of humor.

Oh, for goodness sakes!
I saw the flag count go down to 3, but someone just bumped it back up to 4.

Edit to Add: Nevermind. It's back to 3. How low can she go?
