So David Cameron has come out in defence of Religion and Its role in Society and Politics.
I'm not sure how this will go down and it will be interesting to see what happens and what the public's reaction is to it, and also other politicians.
Also interesting when he talks about moral collapse...
David Cameron has said the UK is a Christian country "and we should not be afraid to say so". In a speech in Oxford on the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible, the prime minister called for a revival of traditional Christian values to counter Britain's "moral collapse". He dais "live and let live" had too often become "do what you please". The PM said it was wrong to suggest that standing up for Christianity was "somehow doing down other faiths". Describing himself as a "committed" but only "vaguely practising" Christian, the PM admitted he was "full of doubts" about big theological issues.
"We are a Christian country and we should not be afraid to say so," he told the audience at Christ Church. "Let me be clear: I am not in any way saying that to have another faith - or no faith - is somehow wrong. "I know and fully respect that many people in this country do not have a religion. "And I am also incredibly proud that Britain is home to many different faith communities, who do so much to make our country stronger. "But what I am saying is that the Bible has helped to give Britain a set of values and morals which make Britain what it is today."

I have too throw out a very loud LOL to the UK's extreme LOL overtaken by a certain religion I shall not name (whispering...islam) and the fact that your P M's Christian statement may just have started UK's religious battle against a religion that has no room for other religions.
However throwing some encouragement to the UK, America is not far behind the U K.
Yet here on American soil let 1suicide bomber hit a mall, school, hospital... We will as the citizen rea t. The gov will have to do to the Muslims the same actions as that which was required when Japan tried to take us, gov rounded them up and encamped them, LOLfor their safety against us the commoners. Seeing the likes of people such as Cameron mouthing off about religion makes me sick. Lets face it, someone who lies, cheats, steals and orders mass death upon other people is hardly following the words of his alleged messiah. The same goes for many of the worlds leaders who use religion to drum up support to appear benevolent and good. Their actions speak otherwise.
But, isn't that also true of some religious leaders and writings too? Those that put their followers above all others and preach that they are somehow superior?

The UK is a muslim majority country these days if you take into account those that say they are christian but do not practice. I can't wait for the day that it doesn't matter what religion you believe in, as nobody will care.

Churches, Mosques, Synagogues, Temples etc, are merely edifices built to perpetuate the control of religion over the masses, nothing more.
A person's religious faith cannot be measured by how often that person visits a place of worship, as it's a purely personal belief and spiritual relationship. If churches didn't exist, for instance, would it mean there are no longer Christians? Of course not!

Religion has no place in government. We should be keeping religion out of politics, not trying to sneak it into government policy.

Yes, having no religion at all will really make you a better person ,
all that apathy and immorality...
God has a penchant for destroying people who "do not care".
People who do not care wether or not they do evil are just plain wicked. Goats on the left, sheep on the right.
