I say this because it can be a daunting task to be a researcher. Many think that because we have the internet everything should be quick. This is false.

It takes drive, time, and basically the will to search whatever feels right to you. There will always be those that disagree. Not necessarily those that purposely reject, or object to your way of thinking, but when people began to research and realize the amount of things that they have fallen for, they may be standoffish.

Its a natural thing, and I personally believe that with these types of people, though we may have to search harder, or better, isn't our real purpose to learn anyway?

We all have had our ups and downs, sometimes everyone agrees, and sometimes not. Oh, well.

Isn't that truly the meaning of "thats the way the ball bounces"?

For those of you fellow researchers who know what I mean, who understand how I feel, and even if your that person who fights me, disagrees, and makes my 1 hour search into a 5 hour search.... Thanks!!

Peace, NRE.

Just because no one agrees with you does not make you or your ideas or opinions wrong.

Also remember,
Just because majority agrees with you does not make your ideas right

An error does not become truth by reason of multiplied propagation, nor does truth become error because nobody sees it.

Indeed! We both agree methinks.

The problem I have with the internet is that the longer I am on the more likely I am to come across either "adult" material, or almost covering "adult" material.

Funny thing is at work, I never go anywhere near anything that can get me close to said material.

I do agree, when I started looking for alternative energy I was almost drowned in the biased propaganda, I don't care that its "good for the environment".

I finally found some info about it (took me a few weeks of on and off again searching), how to find out how much you use, how to mitigate your usage and some different (and some very doubtful that they work) technologies all with out mentioning the environment or carbon footprint.
