You are very correct about the subliminal messaging. As soon as people can understand the psychological operations that have been controlling societies - for who knows how long - we can then start to live differently.

Hopefully there will be many triggers that will help people break free of the mind control - everyday it seems more and more people are starting to rouse and awaken.

MSNBC Apologizes for Reporting Faulty Romney Klan Connection

However, it appears MSNBC and the progressive blog both missed the final 5 seconds of the “ad” which clearly reads “Mitt Romney does not actually support this ad.“ Not to mention the youtube channel that the blog reports the ”ad” to have originated from is not from the Romney campaign but kdipark, whoever that is.

The blog only presents two examples of Romney using the phrase, which at face value does not sound too different than any other campaign rhetoric, and there is no evidence that the candidate was attempting to hark on the particularly ugly nativist sentiments espoused by the Klan. While the blog is entitled “Romney adopts KKK Slogan: ‘Keep America American,“ the Romney campaign slogan has long been ”Believe in America.”

So sure, this ad wasn't endorsed by the Romney campaign and that's not his campaign slogan but, you can clearly hear him use the term in the speech used in the ad.

I don't see why MSNBC felt the need to apologize. He did use the term on a few occasions so their report was not factually inaccurate. The only thing I can think of is that they want him to be the Republican candidate.

So right! It's all about subliminal messaging look at the fox news subliminal messages running across the screen saying "loser" "lost" and an arrow down in the background on fox news. Society always needs a villian to distract us from the agenda in progress.

It is chauvinistic not racist on face value (altho that is probably how the KKK meant it at that time).

Whats even worse the slogan goes back to the 1850's and the Know Nothing Party, they were anti immigrant and anti catholic, Romney just keeps stepping in it and then putting his foot in his mouth. This combined with the video of his interaction with the gay VN vet, just convinces me, that he is nothing but a spoiled little rich frat boy. GO HOME MITT.

I don't like Romney at all but the premise of this thread is pretty unfair to him and his slogan. Romney may be an elitist and wants to be President for egotistical reasons (my opinion) but he has not given us a reason to think he could be racist.

He personally may not be, but embraces a religion that has been proven to have been racist for a long time. I don't think it is unfair to open this part of his life to investigation.

ETA: There is no doubt about the original usage of the phrase, what makes you feel it is unfair. These guys know they put everything they have ever said and done open to public scrutiny.

This was not accidental. His campaign managers grew from academia, and were vetted in circles that demand a tight ship. They know how to research, and a google search would give you the original owners of the phrase. This is a phrase coined by a white supremacist organization that is still active in this country and I feel it's just the republicans pandering to the crazys. It's just like all the "God Bless America" rhetoric. Of course, the religious right proved to be too intelligent to blindly be lead anymore, after eight years of Duhbya and no public executions of abortion doctors. Now, they play to the blindly hateful. Perry now hates gays, and Romney likes the poetry of the KKK. Maybe they'll be dumb enough to foam at the mouth on command and get back in their crates when the show is over.

It's just a bad political move, FOX news brought up the fact that Obama was using a Charlie Sheen
slogan, poor research, politics is 98% mud slinging... same diff IMO.

wonder if this is why the GOV is telling states to back off on immigration saying to the States if is a FED matter not a state? As far as the KKK, doubt it but then you know anything is possible

Knowing full well that KKK stands for cowards who hid their identity and proceeded to murder people they did not like based on the colour of their skin - I wonder how many Americans with memories of a murdered relative are likely to trust someone with a reference to such an evil organisation.

How many relatives, neighbours and friends, how many people through marriage and extended families have a direct connection to all the victims of the KKK? Not sure but African American people were the primary target of the KKK as well as other 'disliked' sectors of society - count their friends and relatives as well.

I would hate to think how much damage this politician has done to his campaign already - mind control is one thing but the murder of innocent people will never be forgotten by the people who loved and cared for their victim. As much as a lot of discussion goes on within this site - how many people out there in non ATS land are noticing the use of KKK in the news? I bet there are psychological triggers being pressed all over the place? Maybe the cabal/illuminati/whatever will actually fall on its own sword!
