Now this is fun.

Romney adopts KKK slogan: "Keep America American"

Not whether Romney inadvertently is using the KKK's number one slogan from the 1920s on the stump, no, the Republicans would say, if this were a Democrat, that clearly the candidate was a closet member of the KKK. So, is Mitt Romney a closet member of the KKK?

KKK book from 1915 :

Romney :
Romney steps up efforts in Iowa

Romney aimed his fire at Obama, and acknowledged the importance of such interactions with voters.

"There are people in this room who are informed and who care about this election, who recognize that this is a defining time for America," he said. "We have on one side a president who wants to transform America into a European-style nation, and you have on other hand someone like myself that wants to turn around America and keep America American with the principals that made us the greatest nation on Earth. And I will do that with your help."

Keep America American...

Romney, you are such a joke... you might have outdone Newt on this one.

(but yeah this is quite a stretch from the Obamabot that wrote this article)

Edit : Obama did use ``yes we can`` from a children's tv program...

I really do not give a flying crap who the quote belongs to, I like it. Although there is no way Mitt Romney genuinely likes it, Mitt is just becoming worried now that he is being beaten in polls by a serial adulterer and hypocrite.

Also you would think Romney's campaign team would have enough common sense to look that up before using it, I mean is that not campaign 101?

Ha I can hear him coming up with this one in an office with his campaign guys.

"Keep America American......"

"where have I heard that...I think I've heard that before...."

"Yea sounds good doesn't it... I don't know either.....lets just use it"

"Okay sounds great!"

As if the African American community didn't have enough reasons to hate the rich white guy who made a living buying companies and destroying them.

I don't think Romney had any idea this was a KKK slogan, I expect it to be pulled as soon as there's enough attention pulled towards it.

Either way, doesn't help his cause.

What's really upsetting is that MSNBC mentioned the article from the OP and then they went and issued an APOLOGY to Romney over mentioning the FACT that he stole his slogan from the Klan.

Try telling me the MSM isn't trying to ram Romney down our throats now. Any other candidate and they would run with this 24/7 but, with Romney, they fall all over themselves with apologies.

I'm sure, in some way or form, even Hitlers words have been repeated and you wouldn't notice it.

He probably doesnt know it was the KKK slogan...

Well, I happen to agree with him, however, it is a little too late for that. Remember, that was in the 1920's

It seems more and more to me that Ron Paul is being positioned for the presidency. I mean, come on! Are the other candidates really that bad?

To some, I wouldn't doubt it, but what president has gone through their term without name calling?

With regard to American politicians and elections - are people aware that the cabal/illuminati/whatever pour money into the campaign of the person they have chosen to be the next leader? They actually pour money into all the campaigns with an emphasis on the person they have selected to win. They pour money into the entire exercise so as not to appear too obvious.

Research of the cabal/illuminati/whatever suggests that the American people are swayed into casting votes by virtue of psychological persuasion. Just look up Tavistock for the psychological control of societies and read as much as you can about the illuminati - especially the bloodlines and listing of members.

In essence it appears that the American people vote believing the system is fair and actually controlled by the people - in fact it is completely controlled by the people with all the money - the cabal/illuminati/whatever. The fact that KKK is even being mentioned shows that the illuminati are very much involved. I find the symbolism of KKK to be repugnant and evil and it is up to the American people to speak up and show their disgust.

Much Peace...with an emphasis for all the people so cruelly and soullessly murdered at the hands of KKK members and supporters... as victims there are many people on planet Earth who will never forget you and how you died...please guide us in Spirit so that it may never happen again...

It is subliminal mind manipulation. Don't doubt them, they are evil geniuses that know precisely what they are doing.

They know a lot of white Americans are racist towards blacks. By using this old KKK slogan, it triggers a subliminal response in some people that "this is the right guy to challenge that black guy".

Awe come on. The whole country is sick of the Racist crap. It seems to be the argument the radical progressives go to for everything. It's just more hate speech. Republicans are no more KKK than the Democrats are Communists. Complete straw man by hateful people IMO.

History repeating slogans isn't new. "Final Solution" was originally used by the Holy See for the inquisition(s) before it was recently made popular again by Hitler.' Homeland Security' was used by Hitler before G.W Bush. "Keep America American" used by Romney isn't that surprising. Mormons belief system is based around whites, and blacks are cursed. Blacks weren't even allowed to become members of the L.D.S until 1992! Less than 20 years ago! A rich, white, mormon who's religion is based on racial superiority uses a "KKK" slogan really isn't that surprising. Campaign organizers have had to of researched it.

It does not matter jack squat if it was a KKK slogan. It fits perfectly today. Without the racist overtones of yesteryear. The context in which it is used is what matters.
