dont mean to be picky but if its flying and you dont know what it is then its a UFO.... Unidentified Flying Object.... might be a plane but if you dont know that then to u it is a ufo.

No, very uncommon cloud formation called "hole-punch clouds".
They are usually caused when an aircraft intersects altocumulus or cirrocumulus clouds.

Altocumulus are high-altitude clouds, usually white or gray in color, that occur in sheets or patches. Cirrocumulus also are high-altitude clouds made up of supercooled liquid water droplets and ice crystals.

An airplane passing through a mixed cloud layer while ascending or descending could disrupt the delicate coexistence between the ice crystals and the supercooled liquid water droplets, causing a hole to be punched in the sky.

Small-scale atmospheric movements, both up and down, caused by the jet stream, could cause a similar phenomenon.

every photo and video of a UFO goes to experts who emamine them, and yes most can be explained as man made or natural things but even the experts admit that there is about 5% that they dont know what it is...

S+F! I do believe in UFOs, I just think that they can be faked just a bit . . . TOO easily. This is an epic explanation of how simple objects and applications can be used to dupe others into thinking that they have caught real UFOs.

I second that opinion!

Having seen many a hoax in my day, and with my own two eyes- real UFO's (objects of unknown/not man made origin at different altitudes) I still don't feel like my experiences are questioned by the OP's very thorough and solid work.
We really need to weed out the distortion when it comes to sightings. The interned may be many good things, but the hoaxes and frauds are rampant since its introduction to mankind... As if it wasn't catastrophic even before it came to be.

Whilst on holiday in Eastern Europe i saw a UFO with my wife and i have no doubt in my mind it was technology far beyond human capability. I have no pictures or videos and have never discussed what i saw, but i know it was real. When i see threads like this suggesting otherwise i always wonder whether you are just trying to convince yourself?

This is something I have been advocating for some time now. In my opinion, there are just too many objects and phenomena that fly or occur in the sky for your average "witness" to know about, therefore what is a UFO to them, will be an IFO to someone else.

I have mentioned before that the ONLY way to say that something is truly a UFO is to compare the time and location of the sighting with every single flightplan, military and civilian, as well as missile launch, rocket launches, military, civilian, and government, as well as all chinese lantern launches, balloon launches, et cetera.

It just cannot be done. Especially considering any classified aircraft or "in the sky" phenomena that may be taking place. This isn't even considering the number of atmospheric conditions that can cause visuals that will trick just about anyone who isn't well-versed in the particular happening.

Because this is will always be the case, the ONLY way UFO's can be proven to be alien in origin, is to have one either land and announce their existence, or crash in a densely populated area with hundreds of eyewitnesses, who just happen to take video and stills of the occurrence.

That is the truth the way I see it. If you say that I am wrong, and that one doesn't need to eliminate all of these other phenomena first, then you aren't doing your investigations correctly. Just because it doesn't look like a weather balloon or aircraft from the ground, doesn't mean that it is not a balloon or aircraft. There are so many factors that can alter your perception of what is in the sky, such as speed, altitude, cloud-cover, et cetera.

All I am saying is that one should never be so quick to discount all natural phenomena and claim "aliens."

Excellent work. Always interesting seeing things pointed out like that.

Not trying to challenge you or anything, but this is IMHO the best ufo picture I've ever seen and would like your opinion/view on it.

In the past, I've met people like you you have seen extraordinary things that really cannot be explained, so I fully understand that what you've seen cannot be explained in any way too.
