2012- What's Going To Happen?

Great, another one of these threads started by a brand new member....

The biggest and most joyful event of 2012 will be; 31/12/12 when we move in to 2013 and maybe..with somde degree of luck, all of this will stop.

Actually sorry, I want heaps of stars (I live for them!!) so; we will all gain super human powers and fly through the atmosphere holding hands..after the great consciousness shift of course, in which numerous Gods will ascend and smite the evil reptillians..

Nope. Half of them will find a way to read into it that we were early by a year, and the other half will find another way to translate some random ancient document into another "end of days" countdown.

Mark my words, before the 1st of Feb 2013 we'll have threads here offering videos and garbled rubbish trying to explain that the date should really have been 2013 after all!

I know...there's just a part of me desperately holding on to some small grasp at hope that it will end. Haha I think you're bang on unfortunately..someone will realise they forgot to carry the 1!

Think about the influx of new members we're going to have all creating the same threads come this time next year! The poor old mods will have to be working around the clock!

BETWEEN THE YEARS 2008-2015.
Here is what will happen. We gradually go thru this galactic plane/rift. Things slowly build up and get worse. Weather, volcanoes, earthquakes,floods, sun activities get worse, Poles melt, and magnetic shifts. Then when we reach the very center of the rift, we will get bombarded by all kinds of rocks from space. After which will start to quiet down and we will start to EXIT the rift. I believe that this is the cause of peoples around the world building bunkers to protect themselves from these effects. PEACE, may god be with you.

Nope. In fact if you look at the credible sources they say we passed through the galactic place 3 million years ago, it will take another 11 million years to reach the top of our oscillation, and then it will be another 15 million years before we pass start passing through the plane again. It's also ridiculous that they are able to pinpont this passing down to a few years when it would actually take thousands.

2012 will be a year of highs and lows same as any other year. None of the hooey about it is true..unless people get crazed and force weirdness to happen

In a world of level headed , grounded thinking people, it will be the same as any other year, with expected revelations that would be taken as normal, even if a few weird things happened.

I would be more concerned about those who tune into and revel in disaster, as they may just seize the opportunity to do something they normally would not, just to create the notion of a self-fulfilling prophecy. Since the space is created, they might just step into it. That is what scares me.

The constellation the earth lines up with will shift to Aquarius. This is a 26000 year cycle which ancient text talk about. Their will be galactic equinox.

They are facts.

The rest is speculation, but i hope these "cosmic rays" do shower upon the earth and make this place a better place to live, although i will not be surprised at all if nothing happens...

I can predict with 99.9% certainty that there will no great shift or event.

However... I do fully expect that we will see far more social unrest, the collapse of more than one currency, the fall of numerous governments, an increase in the demand for democratic representation and, potentially, outbreak of war between large powers. I also think that we are already in a state of turmoil around the world when it comes to meteorological phenomena.

I expect we'll see more extreme weather, and probably more quakes too. I don't think this an indication of anything in Mayan "theory" being accurate, just that the Earth is most definitely seeing a shift in the poles, which will cause countless changes and constant shifting leading toward a peak, before gradually calming again.

The above quote seems to be almost entirely contradictory. Your insight claims a 99.9% certainty of no great shift or event but following that, you offer social unrest, collapse of currency, the fall of governments, the outbreak of wars, extreme weather and earthquakes... naming a few.

"No great shift" is a very subjective statement and could be applied to anything from college football to the price of ground beef. But, claiming that 99.9% certainty warrants some explanation that details more than just a basic opinion that broad-steps the reasoning why social unrest, collapse of currency, the fall of governments, the outbreak of wars, extreme weather and earthquakes... don't fall under that direct header.

I personally would like to request some defined details... and in depth, please, as to both how you arrive at your conclusions as well as your logic in excluding such events as being outside that definition.

An unveiling of ancient perceptions and truths. A moving forth with said knowledge and a utilization/incorporation of the new knowledge and subsequent paradigm to bring forth a greater, more respectable organization of the differentiated societies here on Earth. Sorry if i sound like a skeptic. 2012. December 2012 will be the biggest anti climax ever. My opinion. I don't see anyway the Mayans can predict the end of the world unless they were going to make it happen by way of unnatural happenings. Sorry if I sound negative but I just don't think anything will happen.

I would love to believe in those 50/50 odds, but there is no way humanity pulls out of this downward spiral. It could take another generation or two, but we are not headed towards some kind of utopian recovery. Throw in a few natural catastorphies and things will escalate faster than we could imagine.

i was just wondering since something occurred to me
1992-2012 is supposedly the time of no time (is that a fact?)

so could it mean it was the time when everyone just relaxed and goofed
because they thought they didnt need time, the time of no time (as in no care for it), but 2012 is when time runs out...

and a new era/stage begins, and people will be wishing they didnt waste their time in those years. and will not be the time of no time, people will be wishing they had more time,

2012 will be just as lousy as the last four years. Nothing radical. It will come and go just like every other year.
Unemployment rate will continue at 9%. People will continue to lose their homes. Homelessness among vets will continue. Student loan debt will continue to climb. National debt will continue to climb as a result of spending trillions and billions of dollars on a war machine.

Should be a great year!
