US deploys drones 'against Americans'

www.presstv.com

Privacy advocates have raised the alarm on the US police deployment of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to carry out surveillance against the American people.

Local police say they have used two unmanned Predator drones based at Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota to fly at least two dozen surveillance flights since June, according to a recent Los Angeles Times report.

Well, so much for the privacy act. If they want to spy on you in your home, car, wherever, they can and will. Good to know.

Forget about a "bug out" location, unless its invisible to a drone, but hey, they know where you are going before you do anyways...

And for those of you that think this is for "criminals" , guess again...

amerika has died.....

on another note, underground bug out spots, and bunkers that are camouflaged such as cellars and bomb shelters covered in brush and foliage will always be invisible.

but i wouldn't put it past the imperialists to try to torch us out...

in 1972 our sats could find a dime anywhere on the planet.

I think its foolish to waste money on fuel when there is so much better already. Really, drones are like renting a cave for summer vacation.

Unless you are planning or doing serious criminal activity.why would the poverty stricken U.S gov waste money sending a drone to watch you make popcorn or run around the back yard in boxer shorts.Makes no sense but then again it is from presstv.

Don't worry Americans...

If you see one of these drones in your area just go grab the remote control of your toy helicopter and you'll be able to take control of the drone and fly it into your garage.

This was noted previously but I thought it was only rumor and nothing was set in stone yet. That is abviously the not the case any longer. They set this up rather fast. Goodbye to freedom and liberty...

Interesting, the new Simpsons episode Sunday night was based on surveillance in which the Springfield police were able to see everyone everywhere except in Homers backyard where the city eventually gathered so they could do the things the people watching them wouldn't let them do.

Most likely the drones are for thermal imaging.
Satellites can't do that currently, so a drone would be needed to locate anyone that is hidden.

So they can now do the same stuff they have done for ages with light aircraft and helicopters...only cheaper and safer - good thinking I say!

Because, you wont be doing this when the SHTF!

I don't think it's worth all the Survival Prep either as it assumes that you'll be able to stay put - that's not going to happen then you'll have to leave all your stores behind when you make a run for it or try to get out of the area because of a variety of contaminants or acute emergency.

A bug bag is the only thing you'll use!

Ive been saying for years that the bugs and beetles were drones

Deganawidah said that the battle between the white and the red serpents opened very slowly but would then become so violent that the mountains would crack and the rivers would boil and the fish would turn up on their bellies. He said that there would be no leaves on the trees in that area. There would be no grass, and that strange bugs and beetles would crawl from the ground and attack both serpents

www.2012endofdays.org...

Deganawidah is the creator of the first known constitutional democracy which still exists today as a soveriegn state in the US and Canada...the Six Nations
He forcast the coming of the whiteman and the resulting situation in America the early 12th Century.
the red dragons are the red rothschildes banker fascistcommunist royalist fuedalists
the white dragons are the average joe patriot

the black dragons are the chinese
the no leaves are like VIET NAM agent orange

after reading the parts of this that are the past
have fun reading the parts that are the future

"In a precedent-setting event, local law enforcement in North Dakota nabbed three suspected armed men with the help of a Predator B unmanned drone. It was only after the drone confirmed that the men were unarmed that police moved in to make the arrest."

"Now that the precedent has been set -- with a supporting narrative to boot -- the full spectrum of the drone capability is set to be unleashed in America. Everything from spotting "adversarial intent" to facial recognition, soft biometrics, general threat assessments and even nano drones that mimic nature itself. And don't think that weaponization is far off."

Dennis Kucinich is one of very few critical voices on this issue. Kucinich penned a terrific commentary back in August warning of the threat to the rule of law posed by unmanned drones. His screed was directed toward their misuse overseas, but he alludes to the writing on the wall, which clearly states that America shall be viewed as no different than any other country plagued by remote control surveillance and warfare:
Think of the use of drone air strikes as summary executions, extra-judicial killings justified by faceless bureaucrats using who-knows-what 'intelligence,' with no oversight whatsoever and you get the idea that we have slipped into spooky new world where joystick gods manipulating robots deal death from the skies and then go home and hug their children. Everything America was once said to stand for: the rule of law, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights is in danger of becoming collateral damage as our fearful leaders continue to kill suspects and innocent alike, mindlessly unaware that the hellfire we are sowing will surely be reaped by Americans in the future. The proliferation of drone technology and its inevitable extension to civilian law enforcement is a leap into the arms of Big Brother.
We have seen horrendous civilian casualties in other countries from this supposed high-tech fleet of unmanned drones operated from trailers thousands of miles away. Countries like Pakistan have had enough and have sent the fleet packing. I submit that we should not wait for the casualties to mount before dismissing this wasteful military expenditure that is part and parcel of deleting human life, and deleting our Constitution.
