Vice President Dick Cheney has just stated that if the Democrats win the election there will be another terror attack on the United States. He says that Americans need to make the right choice and vote for Bush and himself in the upcoming November elections.

www.foxnews.com
DES MOINES, Iowa Vice President Dick Cheney (search) on Tuesday warned Americans about voting for Democratic Sen. John Kerry, (search) saying that if the nation makes the wrong choice on Election Day it faces the threat of another terrorist attack.

The Kerry-Edwards campaign immediately rejected those comments as "scare tactics" that crossed the line.

"It's absolutely essential that eight weeks from today, on Nov. 2, we make the right choice, because if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we'll get hit again and we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States," Cheney told about 350 supporters at a town-hall meeting in this Iowa city.

How does he know this, maybe he has an inside track to the terrorists?

Yes indeed, how can he possible know this?
As we understand it, the terrorists seem to want Bush for president.
Why?
Strange he could make such a statement anyway.
9/11 happened with Bush in office after all.

...or Cheny will personally see to it that we get attacked!

We will be attacked again at some point at some time regardless of who the current President is.

I'm sick and disgusted with this election being about the 'War On Terror' circus and using terrorist events like 9/11 to manipulate the emotions and misconceptions of the American public.

If the 'war on terror' ended tomorrow, who would be the better candidate? That's what we should be thinking about - not this grand show of psuedo-patriotism and fearmongering.

I am so sick of this whole election thing and terror thing too! It makes me want to vomet

What a statement to make! I think both Kerry and Bush in office is a big joke! It doesn't matter who wins, they are not running the country - they are just pawns in their sick little game they are playing. Welcome to 2004!

Well I am glad that some are awakening to the reality of politics, and now you have it vote republican or you will be blown to pieces, scare tactics get it.

So vote republican if you don't want gay marriage and abortion clinics next door, and vote republican if you want Jesus in the white house.

Now vote Kerry and you will be unsafe, and gays will be marry and living next door and swapping recipes with your husbands and abortion clinics will open down the road.

It's all about manipulation and lies.

In reality, we are already being attacked. Look around, people are scared, confused have no clue which is the right choice to make, especially when we have a war monger (Bush) and a chicken Sh*T (Kerry) that wants to allow the UN to tell us when we can go to war. Hmm something just isn't right here with both candidates. As being an American, I believe we will be safer with crazy O'l GW and more defenseless with Kerry, but in reality I wish I had another candidate to choose from, because out of both of them all that can come of this is more pain for us (The United States Citizens).

just my thought.

So if Kerry is elected we will be attacked again. But wait, George Bush was elected (well...) and we got attacked and lost 3,000 innocent civilians.

Hmm one is a possibility and the other was a certainty. By Cheneys logic you should vote Kerry.

This is the biggest piece of Propoganda BS I've ever heard! This really ticks me off, and if I was in a toss-up, I'd definitly vote for Kerry for even saying something like that! It's not 'foresight', it's a freaking threat, from our own VP!!! It doesn't matter WHO gets voted into office, we will still have terrorist attacks... we're electing a President and Vice President, not the entire intelligence community! GRRR!!!! I'm gonna go break something... hopefully there aren't any Bush/Cheney supporters around....

Wow, there it is, Cheney tells people in Senate "Go F--- yourself" and tells Americans that if they vote for Kerry they'll be attacked. Simply amazing.

Well remember Cheney had a lot to gain when US invaded Iraq. (haliburton) maybe he should be investigated after all.

I agree with ya Godsent, I have been saying that this election is the worst I have witnessed. I don't want either one of them in there, but One will be. I wish both parties would get on with other issues. The way I see it, is that if there is not an Economy, Better Schooling, Better Health Benefits, and more, What will there be to defend? I'm not implying that the US itself should not be defended. I believe these two have driven a wedge into the country. I personally have not seen the shanigans that is going on in this election, go on in any other. Yes there are Ad Campaigns attacking each other in every election, but this one is just out of hand. I believe "Terrorists" (whatever that means nowadays) wouldn't want Bush in office because Kerry is likely not to go after anyone the way that GW is. An attack before the election would only strengthen the Vote for GW. The problem is, if one does happen, will the country come together like it did on 9-11? Alot of people put sole blame on the Bush Admin. for letting 9-11 happen in the first place. I also don't recall as many scandals and negativity in the White House before GW took over.

Anyway, for Dick to come out and say this is un-real. I'm sick and tired of them using 9-11 the way that they do. Almost 3 years and no OSAMA, but there was no problem Identifying everyone involved in the attack, with pictures, only a couple of hours thereafter. We had a liitle sneak peak (IMO), that Osama would be "Captured" before the Election. I may be stupid sometimes, but not that stupid. Pakistan has captured more AQ members than we have, and we are not even allowed in Pakistan. We pulled troops out of Afghanistan to go into Iraq. WHY??? The man 'Behind' the worst act of terrorism on American Soil was not in Iraq. Why did we stop going after him. This is one reason why I am less to reply on topics like this, I just get angry anymore. Sorry for any ranting, and If a mod feels this should be deleted, go ahead.

WOW!! why does he even speak. that almost sounds like a threat........but then again it is probably not a threat as much as it is a promise...they did pull of 911... err..i mean let happen..ahhh..i mean sat by and watched...ohhh..i meant were just present............

Hey, his testimony to the 9/11 "whitewash" commission as well as GW's were both given in secret.. wonder why?

How does he know this, maybe he has an inside track to the terrorists?

I'm sure that he does have an inside track- we have a terror threat level, instead he has daily intelligence briefings. Here you have a clear example of the filtration of knowledge. Since his job is to serve the american public, is he doing his job in an unbiased fashion? I'm wondering if the upcoming election is creating some type of bias in his ability to conduct his vice-presidential affairs by putting the public-- or the incumbent-- first.

I think the answer is fairly obvious. This statement that Cheney made seems like a teaser-- a preview to the greatest show on Earth. This is fear-based campaigning, and according to some, it is part of the typical illuminati scheme.

But then again, as we saw in fahrenheit 9/11, "we need to go after these terrorists, now watch me hit this drive!"

Embedded Code Broken?
Next 911 On September 27?
From Eric May
9-6-4

In an August 16 email (below) Capt. May explains to Ghost Troop why they were off-date by twenty-four hours in the email extract below, and makes a frightening prediction that the next 911 will occur on 9/27/2004 - the 1111th day after 911, and completely in keeping with the methodology of the time-schedule of the makers of 911 itself, and 311 in Madrid. Please forward this email, with its analysis of the embedded code and its prediction of a 9/27 staged terror event, to all friends and family, and to all local police agencies and fire departments. The more people who are aware of the methodology of the faked terror events there are, the less able the Bush White House will be to carry them outmore

Who is the extremist now? Is this not an indication that terrorism is one that is co-ordinated from within?

This threat is meant to put fear into the minds of Americans. It is extreme. It is unacceptable.

Something is terribly wrong. If Cheney has come this far in extremism, how far will he go?

Halliburton?? Nothing to see here, move along!!!

Cheney resigned as CEO on July 25, and put all of his corporate shares and stock options into a charitable trust. However, as of July 2004 Cheney still received severance payments from Halliburton. This raised questions in America about a possible conflict of interest, since Halliburton was granted over $10 billion in no-bid contracts for the rebuilding effort following the war in Iraq.

en.wikipedia.org...

Hey, what's this about severance pay?

The oil services company [Halliburton] said it had received a letter from the US treasury department, informing it that an inquiry into allegations that Halliburton might have broken trade embargoes had been reopened.
The investigation relates to when Mr. Cheney was running the company. He was chief executive between 1995 and 2000 before quitting to run for office with George Bush, taking with him a $36m (19m) severance package.

www.costanzo.org...

But not while he was Vice-President, right??

In his retirement package from Halliburton, Cheney was granted deferred compensation, which paid out his bonus his salary from 1999 over a five-year period and his bonus from that year in 2001. In 2001, while serving as Vice President, Cheney received $1,656,696 in deferred compensation from Halliburton, which included a bonus worth $1,451,398 and $205,298 in deferred salary. In 2002, Cheney received $162,392 in deferred salary compensation. ["Income: Type and amount," Schedule A, Standard Form 278, Richard B. Cheney Personal Financial Disclosure, May 15, 2002; May 15, 2003]

Seems like Dick has some explaining to do... consorting with the Iranians now??

While US law does ban virtually all commerce with the rogue nations, Mr Thompson also claimed General Electric, Conoco-Phillips and Halliburton appeared to have violated "the spirit of the law."

According to Mr Thompson, Halliburton Products and Services, Ltd., which is wholly owned by the US-based Halliburton and registered out of Caledonian Bank in George Town, is doing business with Iran. He reports that the company sells about US$40 million a year worth of oil field services to the Iranian Government.

"The Iranian Government is receiving dollars from it," Mr Thompson said during an interview with CBS correspondent Lesley Stahl. "And then turning around and exporting terrorism around the world. It benefits terrorism."

To verify Mr Thompson's claims, 60 Minutes went undercover to visit the manager of Caledonian Bank, David Walker.

Walker told producers that, while Halliburton Products and Services was registered at the address, it was in name only. There was no actual office at the building or anywhere else in the Cayman Islands. And there were no employees on site.

"They're not doing any business in Cayman per se," he was quoted as having said, "They're doing business, international business. Would it make sense to have somebody in Cayman pushing paper around? I don't know. And some people do it. And some people don't. And it's mostly driven by whatever the issues are with the head office in Houston."

According to '60 Minutes' producers, if that meant the head office was calling the shots, then that would be against the law because the subsidiary must be completely independent of the US company. Halliburton's head office refused to comment on the matter.

Ever hear of state-sponsored terrorism? Is it now a possible hypothesis or is still just idiotic, uninformed conspiracy-drivel?
