Steveknows ha.
Pine Gap is not only controlled by the U.S but it’s also owned by the U.S, it is U.S soil not Australia soil, do your research. So whatever you think it’s used for makes no difference to the above.
QUEENSLAND is a corporation of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA what do you think about that? But doesn’t steveknow?
If you would be more concerned about the truth you might know these things.
Ps; you wrote`` What it is is that one person without a clue starts a thread and then they get support from a whole load of others without a clue”
Really Steveknows, without a clue, com on mate you didn’t know PINE GAP IS OWNED BY THE U.S and it is U.S soil. What part of the army were you in, don’t tell me you use to put the stickers on and washed the tyres, did you have all your injections also that would explain it.
One more thing, you also wrote: ``They're not reflective of the average Aussie believe me”. True that MATE, the average Aussie wouldn’t have a clue about what’s really going on, like you they probably get their info from TV or on the news as you put it (Wako ring a bell).

YOU........ARE........WRONG. And your rant shows that you display the anger of the uneducated and illinformed.

Be gone with you.

Read my quote again, where it says

the Australian Government shall provide land for the facility which will remain vested in the Australian Government

Sure doesn't sound like the US owns the land, as you stated:

But, I'm not saying any more on it. You've a right to your opinion.

What are you going on about?

You said "Not so sure it's solely U.S. property" and I confirmed saying "it's not"

I think you've got me confused with someone else. I've always stated that it's a joint defence facility and I fully agree that it's Australian land. I've said all the way through this thread and others that the U.S does not have it's own bases in Australia.

I've not once said the U.S owns the land. Please point out where I said that?

I was agreeing with you

The "American" presence should not be welcome.
It is important to understand however, that it is not an "American" presence. It is a mercenary force, but the mercenaries may not know what the hell they are.
So, please don't confuse them with Americans. Us Americans, WE love you guys, we don't have to know you personally. We know you are real. But, we know some of you are mercenaries as well....
The people that are occupying your land...some of them can be salvaged. Perhaps most. We don't know.
Just be smart. Try to figure out what is going on, but remember, most of us are human. Let's all try to reach the humans in the bunch. Perhaps we can change the world?
Let's elevate the discussion.

We; the Audtralian people were never consulted by our own goverment about the US invading us. This was all done behind our backs just like they have agreed to set up a nucular dump for the world here.

Ah - well then. If that's the case I feel bad for you. I really do cause the same kind of thing happens here in the US all the time too. You see, our government does all kinds of stuff without asking us either. Amazing eh?

You know what? They never even asked us if we thought the US should send troops down under!! They just talked with your government and it happened!! Heck, if you don't want US troops there its ok by me. The thing is I don't have any more power to bring them back than you do to send them back.

You haven't ranted here at all. So this isn't directed at you personally - rather at the general tone of the thread But ranting back and forth here won't solve anything except get everyone all angry at each other. US citizens didn't send the troops there any more than Aus citizens asked for them. So, yelling at us won't make any difference - cause the two governments are just playing us all for saps anyway.

You both have no concept. Enjoy your daydreams.
