Oh come on you're smarter than that aren't you? GWB is now 58 yrs old! His father was president from 1988-1992..a total of 4 yrs. If you count the fact that he was sworn in on January 20th 1989 then that would make him 43. However, I'm going on the time his dad was elected. Either way, 42 or 43 doesn't matter. He should have been setting an example. I'm even being nice about it and giving him the benefit of the doubt that he did it the first year his dad was president. Now, if you subtract 2004-1988 you get 16. If you subtract 16 from his current age of 58 you will get 42. Now if you want proof that he has in fact "snorted" coc aine just rely on old speeches, he admitted to it. Either way you look at it he wasn't a youth now was he?

But still...where is the proof? That's what I asked for

HUH?

Sorry, but I have never done coc aine. I have, however, seen what it does to people, including members of my very own family. I know the ways to stop it, and you do not have to experience the drug first hand to experience it.

So let's see if the corporate media gives it the legs it deserves.

lady V, no offense, but you are starting to sound like a republican....
because you are not listening to the proof that you keep asking for.
The entire board is telling you that he does not deny the coc aine use... he admitted to it in the last election... he had said he hadn't done it in years... i don't recall him giving an exact date of his stopping. but i will say this, he said he also quit drinking and he was photographed and videod with an alcholic drink in his hands, during the last election, on his plane (he is obviously tippsy as well) ... His sister in Law is making the assertion that he used coc aine as late as his fathers election. As the math already shows... he was all growed up and a big boy... capable of taking credit for his actions...
I think what they are trying to say (as well as his hypocrasy) is he still doing it? He could be... and if he is, it is a most valid question. he ought to be drug tested. If anyone else is applying for a sensitive position, they require a drug test... especially if they admit to having a previous habit (already proven) and in that case, they usually give random ones after that.

I'm not either, actually, though I am registered as a democrat...I vote for who I feel is the best choice...as to this drug thing...I personally could care less, though I will not go near drugs due to a past addiction as a kid, however, you'd be hard pressed to find too many politician, police officers, lawyers, etc...that haven't at one time or another....sad, but true just the same. If your looking for squeaky clean politician...your just not gonna find it...that was my main point.....all this bash crap is just that!

I think this thread has already died...put I'll put part of my response to this topic that was in this thread, www.abovetopsecret.com..., anyway.

You just have to understand that Bill Clinton faced the same accusations and the media never really picked up on it.

Libertarian leaning writer, Larry Elder on the subject:

Quite simply, the media did not pursue the far stronger allegations of Clinton coc aine use with the intensity shown in the case of George W. Bush. Several people have claimed that Bill Clinton used coc aine, including Gennifer Flowers, his former mistress. And, in 1984, an Arkansas police detective recorded Clintons brother, Roger, doing coke, and saying, "Ive got to get some for my brother. Hes got a nose like a Hoover vacuum cleaner."

I'm not sure of the validity of this site, but hey, it wouldn't matter if it were about Bush:

source "I hear you deliver a hell of a one liner, " Clinton replied, cryptically referring to coc aine and NOT Houston's so-called comedy routine. "I'm always aspiring to achieve new heights."

"Well, come on in," Houston invited. "I have enough (coc aine) to put us all into orbit." I walked into the dressing room with them as Houston was saying to Clinton, "I suppose there are no limits for you since you're across the (state) line."

To tie it up, I realize that Bill Clinton is in the past, but it's relevant because he's the still the darling of the Dem's. If he can use coke back in his day, there's no reason for Bush to be criticized for it, and vice versa. I'm sure a lot of our leaders have at least dabbled in the stuff.

Deny Ignorance everyone, it snows year round in DC!!

Hypocracy isn't divided by party lines.

The questions of Bush using coc aine or any other illegal substance is very logical as far as the campaign goes.

Bush proposed a 2.8 billion dollar bill for the war on drugs. Don't you find that a little hypocritical? He used an illegal substance at age 43. Perhaps if it was 18 or even 21 I might be able to understand the "youth" excuse, but he wasn't even close to being a youth.

Cocaine is a Schedule II drug in the U.S. Controlled Substances Act. It is illegal to grow, process, sell or use coc aine or crack.

I don't think it should be swept under the table like many pf the other not so legal actions of our President.

This might fall under some conspiracy story (well it is ATS after all) but the reason he'd be funding the war on drugs more is because other coc aine dealers are taking from his profits. eh? he's covertly doing this to increase his own profits.

Excerpts from a couple of blogs (Russell Brown won't mind a bit of Hard News on here) and a newsy piece on the biography of Bush due for release shortly.

This is all good for conjecture but unfortunately so much is true. Maybe it's a Bush PR strategy to release all this truth at once and leave a proportion of the public incredulous over it.

However...

The George W. Bush coc aine story is back - although, amusingly, it's from the safe distance of London, where the Daily Mirror is previewing Kitty Kelly's new book, The Family: The Real Story of the Bush Dynasty, which quotes his former sister-in-law Sharon Bush claiming "Bush did coke at Camp David when his father was President, and not just once either." The Mirror story says he is also alleged in the book to have done more than his share of hoovering in the course of his soft National Guard posting.

From an unsourced Indymedia post. (how is that for unsubstantiated!?)

Slash-and-burn celebrity biographer who revealed Sinatra's mother performed coathanger abortions and Lady Di was a pushover, is set to demolish Anti-Christ George W. Bush with Sept. 14 release of Bush Family biography.
The biography is obviously unauathorized.
It reveals alleged sex offenses against minors by Dubya's father.

It reveals the use of the White House by male hookers.

It reveals crooked business deals by every member of the Bush clan, including the oh-so-holy first lady, Laura "Round Heels" Bush.

It reveals how former first lady Babs Bush is almost a practicing witch.

It reveals how Dubya has had a very special friend in the mayor of a Tennessee city, who has has cohabited the Texas ranch many times.

It reveals the details of embarassing photographs of Bush that actually caused U.S. Govt. agents to perpetrate the anthrax mailings to destroy the building of National Enquirer and kill photo editor Stevens.

It reveals how you can get surprisingly close to America's Darth Vader.

It reveals the incredible relationship between Dubya and some famous televangelists.

It reveals intimate details gleaned from persons close to Bush in Crawford, Texas.

It reveals the filth of Bush's ancestors, the most shocking family in US history.

It reveals how Bush plans additional wars for oil, under the pretense of fighting terrorism and defending Israel -- these are just pretenses, the real reason is we are running out of oil.

It reveals Dubya's oedipus complex with Babs, his love/hate relationship with his father, some surprising medical details about Duby, including an explanation of why he is so burnt out.

It reveals who runs Bush, and it is not Round Heels.

It reveals murders committed by the Bush family.

It reveals why George W. Bush is the greatest threat the US and the world has ever faced.

This book makes Fahrenheit 9/11 look like pablum. It is real raw meat.

Four years later...

I found this thread, and wanted to put it back into the recent posts.

#

Could it really be that our president is using coc aine on a regular basis? Sometimes, he does seem addled, over confident, intoxicated. Some important decisions (like waging war in Iraq) seem bizarre and paranoid and unrealistically optimistic.

I have never done coc aine. I am not sure I trust what the web says about how it affects people's mental states. So if anyone has more experience than me in this -- can you supply an answer?

I don't think it is impossible that our commander in chief (maybe many presidents) have made some of their most far reaching decisions when they were intoxicated. George Bush and Bill Clinton might both be coc aine addicts.

I just have one more comment before I leave this thread.

I think it's fascinating to see all the people who four years ago, during the election cycle, were quick to apologize for George W. Bush. If you review the thread, you will see people saying – "Look – he's human!" and "It doesn't matter," etc.

Today, we are still fighting the war in Iraq. We are on the brink of hyperinflation. The housing market has collapsing. And – yeah – gasoline prices are out of control. We are entering World Depression II.

I wonder how much of our current situation is strictly due to unrealistic expectations of our President immediately after "clearing his head" by snorting coc aine?

I'm assuming that George Bush is using coc aine regularly. Who is going to stop him?

I am interested in your opinion. Please show me why my depressing speculation, presented here, isn't possible or even likely.

I believe President Bush has symptoms of drug abuse, and find it hypocritical, and disgusting that our president is not popped with random drug tests monthly. That disturbs me. I want someone rational running my country, and it has been plain as pumpkin from day one this man is anything but rational.

Very interesting article I found online, it mentions our president commuting a prison sentence for a woman, just this past March. Her crime?

Conspiracy and attempt to distribute more than 50 grams of crack coc aine.

Coincidence? What makes Bush so sympathetic to this particular woman's prison sob story? Makes one wonder.

www.foxnews.com...

Four pardons were drug related, one coke and another heroin.

Just to revisit this thread... (No -- I am not going to let this thread go away.)

Here is an interesting post that seems to support the idea that Bush may be under the influence.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

I'm not saying this is definitely the case, but it doesn't stretch the imagination to think he might have snorted a line or two, a few minutes before meeting with the press.
