True, the world is ever-evolving, but when was the last time the entire planet was pushing for change at the exact same time? That's the point I was making. We're seeing rallies for change on every continent around the globe, and all of them with the same goal in their sights; the restoration of power to the people, or if they've never had that freedom, then the inducting of such a way of life into their country/region. It's unprecedented, and in my eyes... inspiring. If we promote this movement correctly and continue to open people's eyes to the lies governing every aspect of Politics, Economics, and Religion we can move on to the next level of human evolution, one where mankind works for it's own advancement, not limited to patriotic devotion or one's own race, sex, or creed, but to the species as a whole. A goal we'll need to achieve if we're ever to survive to see the year 3,000.

Didn't I say the date was suspect and likely created for the sake of an awakening? I believe I did. Let's see...

Maybe the presented date isn't Mayan, Egyptian, or Hindu (as the theories go), maybe that date was created for the purpose of focusing people's thoughts on the words "change" or "end." Maybe it's working. It sure seems to be.

Yep. There it is. So "project" your anger onto someone else. Thanks.

Do you not understand what marketing is? The date was most likely created for profiteering.

Yep. There it is. So "project" your anger onto someone else. Thanks.

*Sighs*, you perceive it as anger because the message is threatening to the nonsense people are spreading. That includes people who will try to spin the story a million ways just to be able to still, after it has been discredited, confide in the world that - not they, but people in marketing thought up for them. The "science and history" channels never drew bigger crowds than when they showed their "2012 apocalypse" nonsense. "2012" the movie was a success, as are all the new-age religion books that hook into the "theory".

The date is completely irrelevant like so many before it. And if you would check the topic of the thread, it is about a "fear for the 2012 apocalypse". It's not just NASA like some suggest, there have been more, actual researches done into this "Mayan 2012 prediction" thing by proper researchers(universities and the likes).

Once again I agree with what you are saying. I just don't think that there is anything special about this age. The difference between what we have going on now as opposed to the Industrial revolution, Renaissance, etc.. is the fact that today the world is linked by the internet. Information is available now in ways that is has never been available before.

At any rate I do agree with what you are saying. Some will call it fulfilled prophesy, others will feel as I do that it is merely a common sense change that needs to happen, but the fact is that it does need to happen.

We're in agreement. I don't believe in prophecies either, however I do believe in the art of "inception", which is what I was trying to explain to InfoKartel. The date has no significance until someone says it does. Do I believe something will happen on that day? How would I know? Does it look like we're in for some significant change in the near future? If we can keep up the momentum, we're sure headed in that direction. I guess I'll just leave it at We're in agreement.
