Every morning we wake up, we look through a window, very different for each of us.
Many of us see beautiful landscapes, many just gray blocks.
The windows through we look are different,

An ugly window,a beautiful landscape.
An beautiful window ,ugly landscape.

Or both.

In your living-room

in your bathroom

or in your bedroom

What do you see, when you wake up in the morning?

Every morning I look through the "window" that is my PC screen and see.... boobs.
Far more encouraging than looking outside and seeing a tree or something.
Then I have a glass of OJ and I'm ready to start my day

I live in a (turn of the century) apartment building. It is a historical landmark and has been preserved. My building withstood the Seattle earthquake of 2001...good architecture....anyway....I live on the first floor on the east side of the building. All my windows in the kitchen, living room and bedroom face a beautiful enclosed courtyard, with lovely trees, gorgeous shrubs, plants and flowers. There is a good sized section of grass, a patio with tables, chairs and benches....a trellis with vines and flowers intertwined on it. We also have a pond with some very healthy and fat fish in it!

The courtyard is a very uplifting and serene piece of nature. Many sparrows visit and I love watching them. This is what I wake up to every morning.

Sure it is.
With all the crappy, esoteric metaphysical threads on this site you'd think people would have a more open mind.

I get up in the morning and look out my window and see nothing, because it's pitch black out

But then a little bit later I look out the windows from my sun room and see the sunrise over a big huge cranberry bog and a mountain of tall pines. It's quite spectacular this time of year.

The sun rising. I think everyday I wake up and look out the window to see the world is still there means there is still hope.

What I literally see out my window is the apartment of the jerk who lives next door. Sometimes I see him leave in the morning and I try to use mental telepathy to push him down the stairs. So far it hasn't worked, but I keep trying.

I agree, and I totally prefer the sunrise over the sunset. I look forward to October/November where I live because the sunrises are so amazing they stop me in my tracks, leave me breathless. I don't associate it with the world still being here, to me it's the power and beauty of nature and God... it actually chokes me up

Now, as far as your neighbor... the more he's a jerk the nicer you should be to him. It's the best way to get under his skin. Don't wish harm on anyone... karma.
