As much as we debate, share, acknowledge, and maintain our lives, I never really see anything about the children. With hunger, abuse both physical and
mental, wars fought all over the world, we seem to over look what our world will be in 50 years.
With many countries currently involved in some sort of conflict, we are raising children in war torn countries, and reproducing hate, on an amazing
scale. Kids that are hungry, sleeping on the ground, having their homes blown up, and given that all so important "____________ (add any name) is our
enemy".
There is a massive amount of children today that are being abused, traded, bought and sold, over-worked, homeless and hungry all over the world, yet
we continue to argue over the next potus, who will be the next false prophet, etc,.
We exploit children in foreign lands with commercials of for just $0.30 a day, we can feed little Juan here, when in fact the money is given to
governments and the children never see a thing. We fight over abortion, yet those children that are alive, dont get the same picket signs and
attention that are currently in the foster care system, and used for drug trails, are abused, and mostly get sent to homes where the people are after
their hefty checks.
We bombard our children today with disney, sex on every channel, and violence that most adults cant handle. We ship them off for 8 hours a day, and
then wonder why they need help with homework when they spent a full work day at school, surrounded by teachers. Knowing that if you went to your job
for 12 years, 8 hours a day, your job is now a career.
We have now given all birth rights to the government, schools, television, ad agencies, movie theaters, and video games, and decided that our children
do not need us, they need to try to fit in at all costs. Look like their 17 when they are actually 10, that girls are drama queens, and boys just need
to avoid women, because they are all drama queens, talking things our is for prissy boys, and men just want a nice cold beer, a night with his buds,
and a quick lay.
Until we can get our future together then the present, means less then the past, and the past is all we have left.
Peace, NRE.
