Would you wear your love as Diamond?

No, I wouldn't. It's not them, their spirit is gone, and it wasn't the outer shell of the person/pet that I loved. Their are much better ways to feel close to someone who has passed on.

Also, while clearly in the minority, I find the idea of keeping someones ashes creepy. To me this is not much different. It is still the persons corpse. I hope I don't offend anyone by that statement, and yes, I have lost many people, every single blood relative aside from my children in fact.

Plus I think diamonds are ugly, their are much prettier stones out there.

Is it wrong of me to want this done to myself when I pass away? 'I think I should like to be the pretty yellow one' is a strange sentence, but nontheless..

It's a lovely idea, but then what happens when generations down the line someone hocks granny in a pawn shop.
That's right, people like me will probably end up looking after her along with many other pieces of hair jewellery and momento mori.

God knows how many bits of people long gone I've got knocking about.

I think it's an interesting idea and I don't have a problem with people doing it. I don't wear jewelry, but if I did, I wouldn't have an problem wearing my love as a diamond.
A memento of the relationship we shared... Yes, I would do it.
