Mitt Romney has a credibility issue with voters. But it is not for moral issues like Cain or even Gingrich but rather for inconsistencies on certain political issues. What he needs to do with respect to Abortion, Gay Rights and Health Care is distinguish between his moral stance on issues (abortion and gay rights, for example) and the right of people to make certain choices free of government interference. As to the issue of Romneycare he needs to reaffirm (rather than avoid the explanation) that it is a state's rights issue and what is right for Massachusetts may not necessarily be right for the nation as a hole and that it is not the Federal Government's place to dictate health care mandates to citizens of a state. I think that this simple clarification even tho self evident would help his cause. His risk is that he will be vilified by the left for being anti-abortion and anti-gay but so be it. Mitt you have to take a stand but that doesnt mean that you have to dictate those personal views on every government policy per se.

I dont know if I could stand to look and listen to someone like Newt Gingrich tho for four or more years....and if his wives couldnt trust him and he has frivolous spending habits to placate his latest wife then I dont trust him to run the country either. To me there is no perfect candidate...only perfect hair and imperfect sound bites.

Yeah.... I think it runs a little deeper than "political issues" and "inconsistencies"

In only three months this year, Romney paid over $2.15 million in fees to the firm of SJZ LLC, who in turn manages the fundraising efforts of his current presidential campaign. Suspicion has arisen given that SJZ LLC founder Spencer Zwick served as finance director of Romney’s 2008 campaign and is currently business partners in Solamere, an equity endeavor run in part with the would-be president’s son. Additionally, John Miller, co-chairman of Romney's National Finance, is also an operating partner at Solamere. It doesn’t end there, however; JRM-C Management, also operated by Miller, has been conducting business transactions with the Romney campaign as recently as late April when the presidential candidate paid the company over $12,000 for air travel accommodations.

or the fact he is a Liberal who voted for every gun control measure there was until he all of the sudden flipped sides and then joined the NRA

Its not a "political issue"

It's a character issue and this scum bag would sell his own mother out for votes. What kind of idiot would want someone like this for President. Get real.

Mitt Romney is a politician (professional seeker of high office) even if he has not spent a career in Washington. But I ask you, would you rather have the globalist Newt Gingrich as your President? Newt has sold his soul.

I don't understand how Mitt likes to talk about free markets and capitalism and he goes and supports tarp AND eurozone bailouts (he won't fully admit this last one though so he won't lose support).
