I get so tired of un-informed individuals making these kinds of statements.

I am not uninformed and I understand that he believes the Federal government has no jurisdiction over the states unless it specifically states in the Constitution. I am making my opinion based on how i think the general public is going to perceive him...and IMO....will keep him from winning the Presidency. I used to be a Ron Paul supporter, and in some areas I do agree with him...but he's far too extreme on too many issues to be electable.

If you don't want to agree with me, that is fine.

I wasn't necessarily directing that at you, as it was a response to the quote at hand. But we have heard that statement thrown around by many who are less than "informed" about Ron Paul's actual stance on the Civil Rights Act. We do disagree based on the posts I've read from you, but I'm willing to agree to disagree with you on those.
